'Are you sure you'll be fine, Liz?' My aunt asked for the sixth time tonight.

'Yeah, I'm sure. You better get going or you'll be late for your date, Judy.' I said smiling at her and she blushed.

'Are you sure I look fine?' She asked looking down at her red dress that went to her knees. She recently dyed her hair blond and I have to say it suits her.

'Totally. He's going to swoon over you.' I said, nodding my head. For a twenty-eight year old she sure looked young. And beautiful. I still can't believe she's single.

'You'll remember to watch your sister. She's playing in her room but check on her every now and then.' She said making her way to the front door. 'Bye sweety.'

'Okay, I will. Bye.' I said, waving to her. She closed the door behind her. I sighed with relief and leaned against the counter.

What to do? What to do? Daniela is fine upstairs. My homework is done. Projects are done. I looked at the TV, and thought. Nope. Not in the mood.

Then I got an idea. I went upstairs to my room and searched my bookshelf for the book I had in mind.

Senior year was tough, don't get me wrong. We had a LOT of work but I always finish it as quick as I can. Sometimes I don't get time for anything else. But on rare moments like this when everything is done, I don't know what to do with myself.

But I realized that I haven't read in a while and I missed escaping this world. I smiled as I found it. It was a mystery novel that my aunt got me for my birthday last year.

Time passed by quickly as I read on my bed, but I made sure I didn't get too lost in the book so I could still check on Daniela. She fell asleep when I checked on her the second time.

We looked alike and people called her my mini twin. We both had blond hair, that almost looked brown sometimes, and green eyes.

But she was the cuter one of us, being only 11 she could wrap anyone around her finger with her puppy-dog-eyes. But not me, though.

Judy returned at around ten and she couldn't stop smiling so I guess the date went well. I didn't ask much because I'm not the romance type.

'He asked me out again and I said yes!' She said excitedly once she finally stopped smiling.

'That's great. I hope he doesn't hurt you because if he does, I will slap him.' I said after she told me.

'I don't think he will.' She said, undoubtedly. 'Anyway, you should be getting to bed. You still have school tomorrow.' She said sternly with her hands on her hips.

'Okay, night Judy.' I said and went to my room and literally jumped in bed, grabbing my book and puting it on the night stand.

Great, Monday's tomorrow. I still don't get why they went on a date on a Sunday night. I thought as I fell asleep.

'Wake up, or I kill you. Wake up, or I kill you.' My alarm screamed in Achmeth's voice. I smiled and shut it up. I'm weird.

I yawned and streched myself out as I got out of bed. And the morning routine began.

I showered and got dressed into a jean, red shirt and my favourite leather jacket.

I made my way downstairs to be greated by Judy making breakfast and Daniela eating.

'You want some?' Judy asked as she made her pancakes. I looked over at Daniela and saw she was only half done.
