Now, on with the chapter!
I walk to school alone. It's a cold morning, and the wind bites at my arms, and whips my hair around. I shiver in my thin jacket, and zip it up. Ruby has decided to walk with her friends today, a goth boy and a girl with brown hair, so, I've been left to walk alone. It's not that bad, it gives me some time with my thoughts.
Currently, all I'm thinking about is this girl (which usually doesn't happen often). Tatiana Mitchell is her name. An image has been created in my mind. A girl with long, elegantly curled blonde hair, inherited from her father, and black eyes than shine with mischief under a certain light. Those would be inherited from her mother. I think of a a spoilt, rich girl who gets whatever she desires.
She has a specific criteria for a boyfriend, and has made her parents find that person. I haven't even heard of anyone having a specific criteria for a boyfriend. Preferences, yes ( I find myself more attracted to blonde hair myself) but never a criteria.
However, the questions on that night seem add up. Her mother looking at my eyes, commenting on my looks. She was making sure I fit the specific needs of her daughter. Then, there is the question about my relationship status.
They must've known that my dad had a son, and that's why they specifically wanted to have dinner over at our house. Or, it could've been a huge coincidence. It could be that I've spent way too much time with Tweek, because I'm looking into this so much. It is the sort of thing he would do.
And that why he interests me so much. He looks into everything. And by everything, I mean everything. Once, a spider landed on his hand. He had the idea that spiders had finally evolved to think like humans, and that the spider landed on his hand to turn him into one. He also pointed out that the spider's movement was sneak like, so he said that it had to be a secret mission. All with the spider still causally on his hand. Of course, I quickly removed the spider.
I have three fears.
And spiders is one of them.
Technically, I didn't remove it. I stood up from the table, squeaked, and threw my water bottle at Tweek's hand in an attempt to assassinate the spider. Unfortunately for Tweek, the lid wasn't exactly secure on the bottle. He was drenched in water, and the spider had scuttled away, unharmed and as dry as a bone.
I smile at the memory. That was about a year and a half ago. When we had first started seeing each other. Life was so much better back then. I was in the closest, my dad wasn't abusive, he was also faithful to my mum, which then meant that she hadn't started drinking. Everything was fine, than I had decided to come out a few months later.
