Chapter 1- Academy

Sayuri's POV

"Itachi!! Wake up!! We're going to be late if you don't!" I cried, as I jumped on my twin brothers bed.

"Hmm... Sayuri..." He groaned as he turned over.

"Come on Itachi!! It's the first day of school!" I whined.

All of a sudden he jumped out of bed, nearly pushing me off. He ran to his closet and started to pull out clothes. When he was about to undress himself, I cried out.

"What?" He asked.

"You know. We may be twins. But I'm still a girl!!" I answered.

He then smiled at me and waited for me to leave his room. When I did, I headed to my room so I could get dressed. When I finished getting dressed, Itachi was outside my door waiting. We made our way downstairs and went to the kitchen. Where we greeted our parents. Our mother was cooking something for breakfast, while our father was sitting at the table reading the newspaper.

"Morning Mama!! Morning Papa!!" I smiled, as I jumped into my seat.

"Morning Sayuri. Morning Itachi." They smiled in return.

"Morning." Itachi replied.

"Ready for your first day of school?" Father asked.

"Yea!!" I squealed.

"Hehe." Mother giggled.

"Papa. Are you coming to see us enter?" I asked.

"Sorry Sayuri. But I've got a mission I have to be doing." He replied.

"Oh. That's okay! But we will see you when you get home right?" I asked.

"Yes." He chuckled.

"Yay!!" I cheered.

"Ok. Settle down Sayuri. Eat your breakfast before 'you' make us late." Itachi said.

"Says the one who slept in!" I argued.

"Says the one who's mucking around." He defended.

After that, we both started laughing. When we calmed down we ate our breakfast and waited till mother packed our lunches. When she did, she walked us to school. I was so excited to be out of the house. It was my first time. All the other times I wasn't aloud or I was busy. But Itachi was aloud out, but I never really cared.

When we arrived I seen so many parents with their kids. I seen some from a few clan I knew of. But that's only because I studied them. In the distance I saw two kids all alone. They were standing next to one another, but had no parents with them. I looked at my mother and Itachi, before I looked back over. All of a sudden a strong looking woman walked over to the two. She looked like she wasn't originally from here.

"Come on Sayuri!!" Itachi called out.

I turned to where I heard his voice and seen that he and mother had both walked ahead of me. I looked back once more, and seen they weren't there. I didn't bother to search for them, so I just ran to my brother.

"Now. Youse have to go sit with the other kids, while I have to stand with the parents. Understand?" Mother asked.

"Yes mama." I replied.

"Itachi?" She asked.

"Yes." He replied.

"Good. Now off you go. Their about to start." She said, showing us off.

We listened to our mother and took a seat amongst the other kids. When we took our seats, I noticed something one of the kids sitting in front of me was wearing. I tried to get a better look at it, but they started the opening ceremony before I could.

"Welcome! Newly students and parents. We're happy to say today that your children have past the entry exams to enter the school." A man said, as the parent clapped. "Now if we could have the children to go to the teacher they were assigned to. Then youse can start your lessons." He continued.

I looked back at mother and seen she had a smile on her face. She nodded at me, telling me to go. I looked back at Itachi and followed him to our teacher. When everyone in our group was here, we headed into the building and made our way to our classroom.

"Alright class. Please take a seat." Our teacher, who was a young female, said.

Everyone rushed to get a seat, next to their friends or the best spot in the room. I took a seat near the back, between Itachi and the window. Everyone started to talk to the people around them, till eventually everyone was in their seat and the teacher spoke up.

"Alright class. For our first lesson today. We're going to get to know one another." She spoke. "I'll start. My name's Hitsako. But you'll call me Hitsako Sensei." She continued. "Now. Why don't we start from the front and work our way to the back." She finished.

Many people said their names but there was only five that got me interested. Three of them I never seen before and two was the two kids I was looking at before.

"My name's Rin Nohara." A girl with short brown hair, brown eyes and purple rectangles on her cheeks smiled.

"My name is Obito Uchiha! And I'm from the famous Uchiha clan!" Cheered a boy with Raven black hair and coal eyes.

"My name's Yuuta (L/N). And I'm originally from the Mist." Said they boy I seen. He had brown hair and brown eyes.

"My name is Hana (L/N). And I'm originally from the Mist." Said they girl I seen. She had hazel eyes and blonde hair.

"My name is Kakashi Hatake." Said a boy with silver hair that defined gravity and black eyes. The strange thing is that he wore a mask to cover the bottom half of his face.

After a while, more people introduced themselves. Till it was Itachi's turn to introduced himself. After him it was my go. All I said was my name, and that was it.

"Three Uchihas this year. Hm..." Hitsako Sensei said to herself.

After that, she started our lessons. When classes was over we had break. I tried to stay with Itachi but he went to hang out with his friends. So I was left alone. I tried to figure out where to sit and eat my lunch. Till eventually I seen Yuuta and Hana. They were sitting by themselves on a lonely bench. I decided I'd go and talk to them, and maybe try and befriend them.

"May I sit here?" I asked.

"Ah? Why do you want to sit here? Don't you want to sit with your friends." Hana asked.

"I have no friends. So I was trying to see if I could become friends with you." I replied.

"Yuuta?" Hana looked at him.

"Fine by me." Yuuta replied.

Hana then turned to me and we smiled at each other. We ate our lunch in silence but, eventually started to get to know one another. A bit later on that day, we became good friends. Not only that, I also became friends with the other Uchiha.
