Dry Run

I am apart of a cheer dancers group. We are not your typical barbie, we don't wear make up and dress to impress guys and flaunt fame. We don't do that. We aren't bitchy. And that's because we are disciplined.
And trained well by our coaches.

Today we finished set 3 of our routine for the competition. We had a dry run 2 times. The first one was okay but a little rough. You know that feeling when you're so into the momentum and you're really feeling it and they say it wasn't good enough so we did again and had to put much more effort to finish our practice. Yeah, that's the feeling.

On our second run, I really excreted greater effort than the first run. While I performed I noticed that he was looking directly at me. Following my every move with his eyes.

I felt giddy and almost lost my focus. Luckily, I snapped back to reality before my coach noticed that I wasn't focusing.

I did my best just to impress everyone. I tried to focus on what I wanted to do perfectly. I almost got all of it, but I lost control a little bit. Hehe.

I was influenced to dance and cheer for the better. Not just to say that I won the competition and grand slammed then rub it in everybody's face. No! I danced to live and to be free. It was my dream. Always have been, always will be. One the other things that influenced me was him. Because of him I knew I should do my best. I'm not saying that everything is for him. Haha no, never. Well it is partly, but also for my family and friends too. And don't forget our God.

After the last run we circled around each other and I lead the prayer. We always start and end the practice with a prayer, because God is the reason why we can do all the stuff that is taught to us. And God is the reason why our coach can come up with beautiful routines, cheers, and dances.

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for all the many, many blessing that you have given us. Thank you for giving patience to our coaches and giving strength and stability to out flexibility. Thank you for all the many, many, many, many blessing that you have given us Lord. Amen.

After our prayer we put our hands in. "READY?!" Our captain yelled. "OKAY!" We all replied and threw our hand down with matching grins on all our faces. Our accomplishments were appreciated by everyone and I felt alive. Causing the butterflies in my stomach to flitter around to find pollen.

Then we thanked the drummers for all their support and all their hard work to create a beat for us. Aaaaannnddd, he was one of those drummers. He wa sone of the drummers that stayed and waved to us when we thanked them with albeit almost identical grins for their accomplishments also. While my teammates were yelling their thanks I made eye contact with him and grinned wider. He nodded and grinned back.

I was enthusiastically happy. If that was a word then yes. I am enthusiastically happy of the situation happening right at this moment.

He actually waved and grinned and acknowledged my being.

I sighed happily. I was day dreaming about some fantasy book I just finished. I replaced the 2 main characters who fell in love in the book with his face and mine.

I was slapped to reality by my best friend. Literally she slapped me in the face. I just shook my head and gave her a questioning look. "We. Are. Gonna. Miss. The. Bus. If. You. Keep. Daydreaming. About. Lover. Boy!" She said while dragging her bag and me. Wondering why she was dragging me? Well I was seated on the floor. Mwahahaha. (Evil laugh)
