That Fall

I was studying my classmate when someone called me. I turned my head to see that it was one of my teammates, Julienne. I managed to get out of the way from my classmates play fighting when I was about to reach Julienne. "Hey S, ready to go to the changing room?" She said, her eyes widening with plea. "No, not yet sorry. You can go ahead if you like. My teacher still won't allow us to change. Don't know why, but I am done with the quiz he gave us." I responded quickly, trying to avoid getting caught. "S'all right. Just don't get in trouble, k?" Julienne said in a motherly tone. "Yes, mom." I replied tauntingly.

Then she slammed the door on my face. How lady-like of her.

I opened the door again and saw her grinning up at me. That's because I am taller than her Mwhahaahah! She was so short compared to me. And to say that I am only 5'4 and she's what? 4'6? Dunno, but I'm pretty sure it's close to that.

"I knew you couldn't resist running after me." She said, wiggling her eyebrows. "No! Hahahaha! I just went out to pee! Hahahaha!" I said trying to sound smooth. Of which actually failed, but to tell you the truth. I did went running after her thinking she was upset with me because I broke my promise. "Could've fooled me." She said obviously embarrassed at her failed statement/question whatever.

Someone coughed loudly as if he was on an asthma attack. When I looked to the left there was no one there. When I looked to the right I saw, Cielo. The he was actually a she! Cielo is also one of my teammates and one of my friends alongside Julienne. She was trying to get our attention. I think we somehow, someway left her out. Meh, not my fault. She didn't even try to let her presence be felt or something.

"Oh! Hi Cieng!" I said happily. To happy I guess because she just looked at me weirdly. Probably thinking I'm high or some other shizz.

Cielo was seated on the floor beside the classroom door. So naturally I stepped over her. She protested, but we made our puppy dog eyes at her. By we, I meant Julienne and me. The reason why she protested was because there was a belief that if you step over someone you have to step over him or her before you go elsewhere. You have to step over once more so you don't get bad luck. I think you don't really get the idea so don't mind it.

We were just above the staircase when the boys, who are still my friends, came barreling towards us. I jumped out of the way, but I wasn't fast enough. I almost tumbled down the stair if it wasn't for him. He caught me when I was almost rolling down the stairs in hysteria. I felt relief wash over me as I was pulled back to my feet. "Be careful next time." He said in a stern voice. I actually thought I heard an ounce of worry lacing his voice. I just shrugged it off. It was probably just my imagination. "Thank you." I said with gratitude and relief. He just nodded and continued down the stairs.

I felt like I was going to faint. The sparks were amazing. I couldn't get enough. It was enticing and addicting. I was lost for words at how I'm supposed to describe that moment to my best friend.

I bent down to fix my leggings. And when I was just about to stand up I felt a hand slap my ass/butt. It stung in so many parts. It wasn't just the one part that was slapped. "Hey! Watch it guys!" I exclaimed muttering profanities under my breath, hoping they wouldn't hear me, luckily they didn't.

"Sorry President S!" They chorused. Before nodding off and hopping down the stairs.
