Telling Him

Me and my friends were practicing for the play we will perform on Tuesday. Unfortunately he was absent along with the other characters. He was the main character and he wasn't even there. So after we practiced, we discussed about how to execute the play properly for tomorrow. Then I told them that I had to go because it was getting dark before my other friend told me that I needed to tell him and the others that we needed to be at school at 6:30 in the morning for practice. We shook our hands and said goodbye to each other, but not before promising that I will tell the others that we needed to be at school early. I just hummed as if saying yes. I was walking down the road to his house when I started to feel nervous. Nervous because I didn't know how to approach him. I got to his house and knocked on the door. Almost immediately the door opened to reveal his little cousin. "Hello, I'm looking for your kuya." I said with a smile painting my face. "Oh, okay imma just fetch him." He replied. I waited for about 2 minutes before the door opened again and there he appeared. He stood tall, but I noticed that he had bags under his eyes. When he saw me on his porch leaning on the door, he raised his eyebrow with his infamous what-do-you-want look. "6:30 am sharp. Tomorrow. School for practice." That was my curt response to his look. He just nodded and raised his eyebrows to say okay and I just nodded back. Turning around to walk away was one of the most difficult thing to do, but I had to do that before he thought I was checking him out. So I turned around and walked away with skipping feet. I bet he was thinking I got high or something.
