Chapter 1- Surprise partner

Niall's P.O.V

I rolled my eyes as I was heading to my boss' office again.

I'm sick and tired;he calls me to his office everyday...It's like I'm the single bloody spy in the whole company. It's getting annoying at some point.

I angrily kick the door open, but luckily Mr.Cowell didn't hear anything.

''Did you want to see me, sir?'' I ask as I sit on the chair in front of him.

''I actually did, Niall.'' He said, smiling.

''And why exactly?'' I ask, wanting to get to the flippin' point.

''Well we know you're a very good spy and all, but we decided that going on dangerous mission all by yourself, we can't risk such a good spy, so we decided that you need a partner'' He said.

Partner?

Did he just say I need a partner?

''You must be mistaking me with someone sociable.'' I said.

''No, Niall. I'm pretty sure I don't.'' He said, looking very serious, which made me worry because he was probably serious about the whole sidekick thing and he wasn't pranking me.

''Please, no!'' I said.

''Oh yes! You need help.'' He said, looking at me seriously again.

''No! I am Niall Horan! I don't need any partner that would just mess things up!'' I said, keeping up my argument and hoping this will change his mind.

''No, Mr.Horan. It's already settled. Tomorrow you'll start the mission together.'' He said.

''But-'' I tried to talk but he cut me off.

''No but's. You're free to go now.'' He said, looking in his papers.

I got up from the chair and headed to the door, when suddenly I realized something and turned around.

''Wait... If I'll work with someone new, don't you think I should at least know a bit about this person?''I asked, raising an eyebrow.

''Well I'm glad you asked;'' He said, smirking.

''Her name is Liv, but we mostly like to call her Jane-'' He said but I cut him off.

''OOOOOhhhh like a secret nickname so when she's on a mission people won't find out her real name?'' I asked because I also have a nickname that I use on missions.

''Exactly... Just like you use your nickname on important missions, Mr. Riley." He said.

I just smiled and listened curiously.

''She has brown hair and blue eyes, she is a bit sassy, but a very good spy. She likes to joke and pull pranks but she's very serious when it comes to missions.'' He said.

''Sounds ok to me.'' I said.

He just smirked and then asked.

''You already like her?''

''What?! Oh God no!! I didn't even see her! And even if I did, I don't fall in love.'' I said and It was true.

''Ok, whatever you say.'' He said still smirking. Sometimes I ask myself if he's too immature to be the headmaster of a very important spy company...

I rolled my eyes and then went out the door.

I headed to my apartment, and when I got there I took my phone out and texted my mate, Louis Tomlinson, who's a very good spy too.
