Chapter 4- Prisoners

Liv's P.O.V

Me and Niall were in something that looked like a jail although it was a basement. Our hands were tied behind our backs and I knew for sure I was feeling very uncomfortable.

''Do you like your new home?'' The lady asked.

''No.'' Niall replied, looking at her coldly.

''It wasn't a question that you should've answered at.'' She said, stroking his face and Niall immediately backed off.

''WATCH IT LADY!'' I said, angrily.

''Shut up!'' She said and slapped me. SLAPPED ME.

I didn't have the courage to tell her anything else and I just shut up because I was scared she was gonna hurt one of us if I got her mad.

''HEY, DON'T DARE TO DO THAT TO HER AGAIN!'' Niall said, full of anger.

''What's your problem anyways, cutie?'' She asked.

''STOP calling me that and leave her alone!'' Niall said.

''And what if I don't want to?'' The lady asked, lifting up one of her eyebrows.

''You'll get into trouble.'' Niall said.

''Ohhh you're so cute and little and you think you can get me into trouble?'' She said, playing with his cheeks.

''STOP IT!'' I said, kicking her.

I immediately regretted it because she looked pretty angry.

Then, I felt a kick in the ribs and then a slap on my face and I was trying not to cry due to the pain and she just whispered.

''DON'T YOU GET ME MAD AGAIN, LITTLE GIRL!''

''It's not her fault you're mental!'' Niall said.

''I'm not mental. But you guys tried to fool me and looks like that didn't turn out pretty well.'' She smiled fakely.

''You guys were smart enough to get over the traps in the basement but looks like you're not smart enough to realize that I'm smarter than you.'' She said.

I rolled my eyes and Niall started at her with anger.

Her phone started to ring and she looked at it with concern.

''Looks like I have to get this call.'' She said, then she left the room, turning on the protection laser beams.

''Great now how do we get out of here?'' I asked.

''Well come behind my back and we'll undo each others ropes.'' Niall said.

''Ok.'' I said and we started to try to move closer to each other and finally my and Niall's back were touching each other.

''I think I got it.'' Niall said and then he pulled a part of the rope and he managed to set me free.

''Now help me!'' He said.

''I WASN'T GONNA LEAVE WITHOUT YOU, YOU KNOW... And thanks...'' I said, undoing the ropes he had tied around his wrists.

''Now we need to be careful with this laser beams.'' He said.

''I need that mirror.'' I said, then I jumped through some laser beams (I was about to fall a few times) and I got the mirror and redirected some of the laser beams.

''Well now we can get out through the window.'' I said.

''Not so fast- we still didn't get what we came here for.'' He said.
