 FOR THE SUPERNOVA OF YOUR SOUL: 

I have heard that everytime two people meet

Two stars in the galaxy cross paths

I wish I could witness the collision when we met

To know that the universe embraced the both of us.

I promise you that I will look up every night

I will look for your star when darkness shrouds me

And I hope that one day when our stars align

I will meet you once again with tears in my eyes.

I salute those herculean rib cages of yours

For they tame a wild creature in the form of your heart

Your star is the one which will illuminate the galaxies

Just like the luminous soul of yours.

I hope that you have the fate of Perseus

I hope you overcome all odds and succeed

I hope these words will keep me in your heart

An remind you of my voice in glee.

When you stare at the sky aimlessly

Let your eyes look for me

I assure you that it won't be difficult to locate me

For my star will be twinkling right beside yours.

so, this is the shortened version of a poem that i wrote for a senior in my school who is going to pass out this year :c

in case, any of you didn't get the catch where i said 'fate of perseus', it means A LOT of goodluck because perseus was the only hero in greek myth who lived till the end c:
