Chapter 4

I woke up to a bad dream, or maybe it was a memory I couldn't tell. I was back in the hospital and I saw Toby. Only I was looking at him through a glass window, he was tied to a chair with man talking to him. I didn't know what was happening all I saw was him screaming in pain, I wanted to help but I was tied down in a chair as well. The rooms were dark amd the walls were dirty and had holes in them. There was a light shinning on me and Toby, more like a greenish light. The room was kind of small and it looked like an interrogation room. A man asked me questions, whenever I answered them  wrong I would get shocked. I remember a man asking me who I loved, I answered wrong and I got shocked. I quickly looked over at Toby and sighed with relief he was ok. We were cuddled in the bed, I was Laying on his chest and his arms wrapped around me. It felt so safe and comfy, I couldn't go back to sleep but I didn't want to move I wanted to stay like this.
  
"Good morning beautiful." He looked at me and smiled.

"Hi" I giggled and blushed.

"Bell there's something I need to ask you." He said with a blush.

"Ok then ask" I said.

"I know we haven't known each other for long but I feel like we have meet before and I can't deny that I want you.
Bell will you be my girlfriend." He asked with a blush and a smile. I couldn't look at him though, every time I saw him I remember my dream and I can't see him like that.

"Yes I would love to." I smiled without looking at him. He got really happy and kissed my cheek which made me blush even more. I got up and went to the bathroom, I washed my face and looked in the mirror, I kept telling myself it was just a dream and its not real. When I went back out Toby ran up to me and covered my mouth. He walked with me to a hidden door in the back without moving his hand from my mouth. He quickly ran out the back door pulling me with him. I didn't know what was happening but when we got far enough away told me to be quiet and uncovers me mouth.

  "They are here they found us." He spoke with panic in his voice.

 "what do we do?" I whispered with panic as well.

 "just follow me I know a safe spot they will never find." he whispered pulling my arm as he ran through the forest. He brought me to a small lake, there was nothing on the other side but a huge rock wall, with a little waterfall. Every where else was a beautiful meadow with roses and daisy's and many other beautiful flowers. The sky was a pretty blue with puffy clouds with shaped on them, the water was crystal clear and glistened in the sun light.

 "Are you ready?" he asked me.

 "Ready for what?"  I questioned. He jumped in the lake and told me to follow him, I did as he asked. We swam to the rock wall, in front of the waterfall.

" There's nothing here but a rock wall." I said.

" Just trust me." he said, he took my hand and pulled me on the other side of the waterfall. He walked me through a little tunnel and when we got to the other side, I couldn't believe my eyes. It was a beautiful huge meadow with a small town, everyone in town was an experiment from the hospital.

"how is this possible? I thought the only way you could escape was if someone let you. How did you even find this place?" I asked with so much wonder. He told me that everything will be explained at the town hall, which is where we were going.

"Hello again Toby, and this must be Bell." A mans voice spoke to us.

"yes this is her, Bell this is Blake." Toby said.

"HI" I said.

"you must be pretty confused, don't worry I will explain everything. A long time ago Mr. curser had a son, The sons name was David. The thing about David was he didn't see the good in what his father was doing. So he helped everyone you see here escape, Mr. curser didn't approve of what David was doing. Mr. curser made him become one of us, an experiment, After they were finished with him they threw him out into the wild saying he has to survive on his own. When we found him we brought him here and we evolved this meadow into our safe place. David is still alive but we don't know where he is at he ran off one night, we have been looking for him but no luck. A while after David went missing, we found Toby in the woods. We took him in and told him everything we knew. Toby decided that he was going to look for David as well and ran into the small town. That's where he met Lisa and found out about how he escaped. And then he met you, at night when you were asleep he came and told me everything, and Now you are here." Blake spoke. I didn't know what to say so I froze in shock. I remember hearing about David the great when I was younger. I always dreamed he would come save me but, he never did.

"So what do we do now?" I asked with fear. Blake brought me and Toby to a secret room. He told us that scientists were trying to figure out how to reverse this. He was saying one of the theris were giving birth would reverse it , sadly no woman have gotten pregnant.

"I'm not sure yet but, I think we are going to break into the hospital." Blake spoke firmly.

"That's dangerous, they are more powerful than us." Toby said in defense.

" I understand, but we out number them plus most people here have magic and things that give us an advantage. And what about all the people still inside that hospital being tortured right now." Blake spoke persuasively. Toby stormed off In the meadow and I followed him.

"Toby slow down." I raised my voice so he could hear me. He turned and looked at me , then sat down in the meadow far from town.

"Bell." He spoke with a sad voice as he gently took my hands. I sat down next to him and looked at him.

"He's going to have our people die. They are too strong for us and he knows it. He slowly later his head on my shoulder. I turned to him and caressed his cheeks on both sides, as I looked into his eyes.

" I know youre scared, but think about all the people still in the hospital. I only got out a week ago and if I didn't try to escape I would still be in there right now." I said. He looked at me and caressed one of my cheeks.

" I'm so happy you escaped, we never would have met if you didn't." He said with a faint smile.

"Toby you don't have to decide if you want to battle right now, we can tell blake we need a few weeks." I said with hope. He nodded his head and gently leaned me back on the grass. I was laying down as he set his head on my stomach and closed his eyes. I began running my fingers through his head as he slept.

"Goodnight Toby." I smiled and continued as he slept through the afternoon. I saw him smile after I said that and he passed out.
