Chapter 10

                          The next day

"Guess what today is?" I said smiling.

"Our aniverassry." He said smiling back. I nodded smiling. He came up to me and hugged me tight smiling. I can't believe its been a month already, it feels like its been days. I'm so happy that he is mine, I should go buy him a gift.

"I'm going to go out for a while I need to do some stuff I'll be back later." I said walking out the door. He nodded as I went into town. I was walking through the chocolate store because I remember how much he loves chocolate. When I was walking through the town I saw a girl.

"No it can't be." I whispers to myself. She got closer and I ran to an through 2 buildings which led to a dead end.

"Lisa how did you find us." I said angrily.

"Please just listen this is serious its a matter of life and death." She begged for me to listen.

"Fine hurry up and tell me." I said still angry.

"Toby isn't who you think he is. He is dangerous you need to leave him and get him out of here." She said with panic.

"What are you talking about? Youre just jealous he chose me." I said.

"Please listen if you don't believe me then go see for your self what he's been doing. If you still hate me after you see then so be it. Meet me back here I'll be waiting for you if you don't show up then I'll know that you still hate me." She pleaded.  I nodded my head walking back to the cottage taking the chocolates I bought with me. When I got there I noticed that the curtains were closed. I opened the door and saw one of the girls from carnival on his lap as they were making out.

"What the hell is going on?" I yelled. They both paused and looked at me and Toby quickly pushed her off and came over to me.

"Its not what you think I swear let me explain." He said taking my hands.

"No you don't need to I'm leaving and don't bother coming after me." I pulled my hands away, walked out the room and slammed the door. I ran all the way back to Lisa.

"You were right."  I said as tears fell down my cheeks. She hugged me and rubbed my back.

"I know I'm sorry he did this." Lisa said sympathetically

"I know its hard but there is still so much you need to know. We can talk about it at my place." She said walling me to the other side of the town away from the cottage. She brought me into a cute little modern house with nice furniture, She brought me into the kitchen.

"Would you like some blueberry tea?" She asked politely.

"Yes please." I said as my eyes burned from the tried tears. She made us blueberry tea and sat in the chair in front of me.

"I don't get it if you were with him and you knew he was this way why did you stay and why did you get so jealous?" I asked slowly sipping my tea.

"I wasn't jealous I was trying to scare you off so you wouldn't get feelings for him." She said and sipped her tea.

"Do you want me to just tell you everything, and after if you still have questions I will answer them." She said. I nodded my head and continued sipping tea.

"Toby actually works for the hospital, he is Mr cursers son. Not by blood he was adopted after his parents left him on the front porch of our house. When Toby grew up he kept saying how he wished he was a dog and Mr curser decided to grant him that wish, Now he is half dog. He was expiermenting on everyone he saw except his family and his co workers. And everything was going great until one day you came along. You see, when my dad found you, you were a already half deer with wings. He didn't understand how, so you are what we call a gem. The rarest of the rare, something so amazing my dad wanted to harvest your powers. Over time while you were locked up my dad was working on how to obtain your powers as his own. He demanded that you were unharmed and lived a life fit for a king. When he finally discovers how to harvest your powers he tried to take them. He's done it before and probably is still doing it now, he takes your soul. He wears a special glove that gives him the powers to harvest your soul, which looks like gems of your birthstone. When he tried to take yours nothing happened, which pissed him off. That's when he took your memory with a memory extracter he invented before starting this operation.  He threw you in with the rest of the expirements and hired special scientists and doctors to figure out everything about you. When you escaped he made a plan where me and Toby fake to be with each other and convince you to fall for Toby. I realized I should have helped you when I talked to David. You and David were very very close, and he showed me everything about you, who you are, where you came from, everything. I can't explain anymore to you until we get your memory back, which we need David for." Lisa said as she sighed in relief is was all out in the air. I was speechless I couldn't get the words out of my mouth but I had so many thoughts running through my head.

"I know this is very shocking to you and its ok you don't have to answer right away." She said calmly drinking her tea.

"B-but David is gone isn't he?" I asked barley getting the words out of my mouth.

"No he's been living secretly near here." She said.

"We really need to kick David out and stop telling him your war plans before he tells my dad about them." She said impatiently.

"But how?" I asked in a panicky voice, she handed me a card.

"This is a banashing card if you throw it on him he will go to a dark place called show valley." She said.

"If its that easy why didn't you do it?" I asked.

"He has to be caught off guard to be banished there every time he sees me he goes in defense mode. I have a plan but I need your help." She said hoping I would say yes.

"what is it?" I asked, and she whisperd in my ear.

                    20 minutes later

I ran out of the room crying all the way back to the cottage. When I arrived Toby was sitting on the couch putting his clothes back on from sex probably.

"Toby." I said with tears falling down.

"Bell please let me explain." He said begging.

"You don't have to, I understand." I said hugging him I felt his warm arms wrap around my waist. I looked at the card in my hand from behind Toby. I closed my eyes and cried as I whispers goodbye to Toby and  placed the card on the back of his neck. The next moment he was gone and I was holding nothing but air. I cried for what felt like hours, putting him in shadow valley was hard and so was knowing that he cheated on me. I noticed the more I thought about how he probably  felt in shawdow valley only made me cry more. I felt a warm feminine hand on my shoulder, I looked up and saw Lisa.

"Its ok you did the right thing. Remember when this is all over we can just rip up the card and bring him back." She said in a sweet voice. I nodded my head, tears still falling off my cheeks.

"So.. Can we go see David?" I asked sniffling between words. She nodded her head andhelped me stand up.

"First I need you to tell Blake you won't be able to make the meeting and your going to try to find David ALONE. Okay?" She asked making sure I understood. I nodded my head and we walked to Blake's office.

"Hey Blake I don't really have time to talk but I won't be able to make the meeting. I'm going to look for David alone. I don't need help so don't worry I'll be back in a few days." I said walking out slowly while seeing him nod and whispers "ok". I followed Lisa out into the meadow.

"Do you see those huge mountains?" She asked.

"Yes" I said.

"That's where we are going." She said.

"But it will take weeks to get there." I said complaining.

"Not if we ride horses." She smiled at me, I gave her a confused look when she brought over 2 horses from the behind the last house before reaching the meadow. We got on top of the horse and got stated heading towards the mountain. So much has happened to me today and I still have so many questions. My heart is broken and it feels like I will never smile again. I know he hurt me but I still love him and I can't help it.
