I jolted awake, sitting up and sweating... A lot. Usually it took a few seconds to recall my dreams but there was no was I could forget that. The dream was too powerful, literally. Now that I was awake I could feel power and anger from the dream slowly fade as I woke up more. I tried wiping some sweat off my forehead, which did nothing but smear it around because my palms where even more sweaty. Inching my way to the edge of my small bed, I stood up and stretched my arms and cracked my back. I was on the middle floor of my tree house, which went down to the floor using a ladder. From up here I could see the front door and my small fire place, which was a good idea in a tree house for some reason? It was unused but still, and I wouldn't need to use it because it was the middle of summer. Above me was the top floor. Nothing up there except a small window, where I could look out to catch a glimpse of what was going on outside. Clumsily, I went down the ladder, tired to skip a bar because I wanted to get down faster, and slipped. Loosing my grip in my hands and fell down the last 8 ladder bars and hit the floor with a thud.Man I'm an idiot. I thought to myself, and I was. I've messed up so many times around the village it was unbelievable. I work... er, "work" at the Ordon villages ranch. Where we held all the goats for their cheese, which was popular to sell for money in Castle town.
I shook myself out of thought, because I realized I've been laying on the floor for five minutes. Pushing myself back up, push-up style, I walked over the my closet, which was a pretty boring selection. Blue shirt, green shirt, red shirt, white shirt, all long sleeve by the way, and same ol' close fitting white and black shorts and long pants. Remembering that I had to help at the ranch today, I quickened my morning routine.
I grabbed my favorite outfit to wear, blue long sleeve shirt with black shorts. Speed walked over to my personal barrel of water behind the front door, splashed some water in my face, while accidentally getting my shirt wet. I threw some sandals on, and swung the door open, forgetting to eat breakfast in the process.

"What do you mean you don't know where he is?" My boss/ the owner of the ranch had stopped by my house to inspect where I kept my horse, Keronia. He was a black stallion with white hair on the back of his neck. He was the only horse in the village and only listened to me... and one other person...
"Ugh, I think I know where he might be. Just uh, meet me at the ranch in a few." And with out waiting for an answer I took off to the path by my house leading to the spring.
---
It was a simple path. The path I walked down sloped and turned slightly, a dirtless path surrounded in trees. Didn't take very long to get to to the spring gates, and not so surprisingly "He" was there with Keronia.
First off, the place I keep calling "the spring" Had no official name other then The Ordon Spring, and that was a mouthful to say. I spent so much time here growing up, that I should've call it my home, I was a lonely kid with no family and I could barely call the handful of kids at the village friends, and this annoying brat that stood in front of me was the same age as me, but we where nothing alike. He was whiney, always bragging about how his dads the mayor and, like he was doing now, stealing my horse without a reason.
Obviously he was too busy drooling over Keronia to see me standing on the edge of the springs, so gladly I decided to make myself noticed.
"What are you doing with my horse?" I said loud enough so he could hear me. The boy stopped petting Keronia and turned over to me with his hand still on my horse.
"Ugh, what are you doing here."
"You know exactly why I'm here you thief. Give me back my horse." I wasn't going to stand here and argue with him all morning, I had things to do unlike him who was free all day long.
"You always talk about Keronia like he's a possession. Do you talk about all your friends by calling then 'Human' or 'my human'?"
He had a point.
"I don't care about all your talking or what you think." I was getting impatient. "Go away, I have things to do."
He completely ignored me and kept talking "Well I knew you wouldn't get it because you have no friends, or family. In fact you don't even live IN the village. You live outside of it, meaning your an outsider, and you always will be." With out making eye contact, he walked past me and turned in the direction of the village.
I hated him. The entire village knew I hated him. HE knew I hated him. That's why I didn't react; Because if i reacted, it would be to beat him up. He was just as skinny as I was and had no fighting experience just like me, but like he said, I was an outsider. I never originated from Ordon. The older adults in the village said they found me alone in the Faron woods as a baby. They never gave any details other then that, which obviously meant they where hiding something from me.
I shrugged off my thoughts and anger and walked over to Keronia. He snorted at my touch, he knew we had work today and he hated doing it just as much as me. "Sorry bud but we got work today." And with that I climbed on his back using the small metal triangles dangling off his saddle. I felt so tall up here, but nit high enough to reach the light green leaves dangling off the drooping trees over head. After a moment of day dreaming we finally rode back to Ordon, then the ranch.
---
I yelled out another curse. I was laying on my back from once again being knocked off Keronia by a stupid goat.
"You can do it!" The ranch owner shouted from the other side of the ranch. His inspirational words weren't helping at all.
"BLEH!" I climbed back up on Keronia, or Kero for short, and chased more dark blue goats around in circles until they decided tormenting me wasn't funny anymore, and went in the small dark brown barn.
After I finished Kero and I both let out and exhausted sigh as the ranch guy ran over to us standing by the barn. "Great job again you two!" He closed the barn doors. "Guess you spent the whole day here again, whoops." He let out a forced smile and laugh, "Why don't you take the day off tomorrow, huh? I think you two need a break from all this goat chasing." You think?
"Alright, thanks man" I trotted away on Keronia hoping he wouldn't say anything else.
"Hey, wait!" My horse and I let out another sigh. "Why don't you try to jump the entrance fence, that would be so cool!"
I looked down at Kero, and he looked back. "Wanna try?" He turned his head to face me, the gate, then back at me and neighed, which probably meant 'sure why not'. With out answering him, we dashed forward to the gate. At the last second, we leaped over it easily, and kept running down the the village.
