Have you ever thought about that? Ever look at yourself and family together in one place and just wondered what really makes you Dominican. Is it the food? The appearance? The culture? The language?
Well... I like to look at it this way. A Dominican person wether born in D.R. or born in the U.S. will recognize that they are Dominican no matter what. They will be proud and never say that they aren't.
A Dominican can't be determined by appearance because we come in all different shades and forms. We accept our fellow neighbors for who they are. We enjoy the different customs that we do in our culture. The dancing, the laughs, the food. All a combination that helps create what we are. We are Dominican, Dominican For Life. Remember that.
