Just A Friend...?

Chapter 1: The begining

{Maddie's POV}
Its the first day of school. Can't believe I'm in 8th grade its crazy. My mom keeps saying "Your so big now" No no I'm not lol.
II'm wearing white shirt with a cream and black cover up and baby blue capries with brown sandles and my hair streiht with light make-up.

Im  kinda nervous to go to a new school new people and everything..
But hopefully I will make at least ONE friend..... right?
"Maddie you ready?!"
"Yupp!" My mom started the car and we drive to Journey Middle School.
"You excited for your first day?!?"
"Well duhh haha."
"Well I hope u have a good day I love you and I believe in you."
"Love you too" She dropped me off and I walked in. Their were people in the gym and caffiteria so I just sat down in the gym waiting for the bell to ring.

About 5 min. later the bell ring FINALLY. My first hour is Math and my teacher is Mrs. Higgins.
"Morning class I'm Mrs. Higgins and first day of school basically I have to go over rules." The whole class made a grunt noise.
"I know I don't want to explane it either but I have too. So we will start with the rules."
About 30 min. later the bell rings.
(Imma skip to 4th hour)
4th hour is ELA (For those of u who don't know what ELA means its English Language Arts)
I make my way to a seat and the bell rings.
"Morning class I'm Mr. Draper. Today's the first day so mingle we will go over rules tomorrow." With that said he sat at his desk. With me being new I know NOBODY so I sat quietly on my IPhone when a girl came up to me.
"Hi I'm Angie. I new here. Are you new?"
"Yeah I'm Maddie. Nice to meet u Angie."
"Omg we have to be friends sense you know were both new." She had a smile in her face. I smiled and said "Sure." Then a really cute guy came up to me with the sweatiest smile ever!
"Hey I'm Jayden but my friends call me Alarcon. You new here?" He put his hand out and I shook it. His hands are huge! But he's really cute.
"Hi I'm Maddie. Yeah I'm new."
He smiled and sat across from me.
"Well sense your new I will be your friend cause who wants to be alone on their first day?! I wouldn't." He laughed and smiled. I think I'm blushing! Angie laughed
"Hi I'm Angie."
"Sup I'm Jayden."  I'm so tempted to ask if he has a girlfriend but it might be too soon.
The bell rang and it was time for lunch. Me Angie and Jayden walked to the Cafeteria and got our food then sat at a empty table.
"So Maddie what's your number??" Angie asked while taking her IPhone 6 S out.
"Its (123)-456-7890." Jayden put my number in also.
"Cool."
Angie texted me
(Angie= A Maddie=M)
A: You like Jayden??
M: I mean he's really cute but I have to get to know him before I say I like him ya know?
A: Yeah I gotch u
We put our phones up and laughed cause Jayden was staring at us with a confused look on his face.
(Imma skip to 7th hour)
Finally last hour! Yay!! I have Spanish last hour. The bell rang and I was sitting next to a girl that had brown hair and brown eyes.
"Hola me Mrs. Harley. Today is a free day sense I my rules are simple like for example don't do something you wouldn't do in front of your parents." She went to her desk and sat down. The girl next to me waved and smiled.
"Hi I'm Denise."
"Hi Denise I'm Maddie."
"Nice too meat you Maddie. We should hang out sometime what's your number?"
"(123)456-7890"
"Cool! I think were gonna be best friends!" She smiled and I did too.
"So what do you think of the school?"
"Its nice I like it." She seems really nice.
About 30 min. later the bell rang.
"Well bye Maddie I will text you later."
"Kk bye."

I go to my mom's car and she smiles at me.
"How was your first day?!"
"It was good."
"Give me more than good! Did you make any friends?"
"Yeah 3. Angie,Jayden,and Denise. Their all nice."
"Aww my little girl and her 3 girls." She laughed.
"Mom Jaydens a guy." I laughed and she looked at me and gave me the 'oops' look.
"My bad." We both laughed and pulled into our drive way.
