{Maddies POV}
Its 6:15 and I'm getting ready for the first day of high school. I'm gonna be a freasmen! Dang time fly's. I was up before the twins. (Addison and Angel.) I picked out something to wear and I desited to wear white shorts and sense it was still hot outside I whore a Anchor shirt with silver sandles. I applies a little bit of make-up when my phone buzzed. So last time i talked to Jayden was last night when we were at the park. On 4th of July he said he likes me. He tried to kiss me last night but he stopped himself. I wonder if he still likes me. I looked at my phone and speaking of the devil its Jayden
Jayden😊❤(that's Hus name in my phone)- Hey we need to talk... About last night.
Maddie- Ok?
J- I was wrong of about to take your first kiss. Ik I told you the 4th I liked you but your just a friend... More like my sister actually.
M- So the rumiors are true.  (People over the summer told Mr Jayden doesn't like me like I like him.)
J- What rumiors?
M- Nun just people saying you don't like me like I like you. But whatevs its ok ig.
J- We still friends?
M- Duh! I can't lose you!
J- Same lol kk see you at school.
My heart is broken. 😩💔. I really like him. I need to get over him but how?  I need to talk to Denise she'll know what to do. Its time to go and I walk up to Denise and take her aside.
"Hey Denise can we talk?"
Yeah what's up?"
"So I still like Jayden and its been about a year. What does that mean? I have tried to get over him but I can't."
"Its not about how long its how strong the feeling is. You say you can't get over him. You might love him"
"But I don't know what love is I'm 14."
"It's really hard to get over someone you love. Maybe you love Jayden... "
"Ugh what do I do?"
"You can't really do anything. If he doest like you back he might not be the one and he is obviously blind!"

"I'm always here for u. Love u 2. So you excited. Its the first day of high school!" We walk back to Jayden and Angie.
"Yeah I mean I guess lol."
"What happened??" Angie asked coming up to me and Denise.
"I think I love Jayden." I whisper in her ear.
"Ohhhh."  The bell rang and I couldn't stop thinking about Jayden and the stupid love word 😩. I want this day to be over.
