Last day of summer

{Maddie's POV}
Last day of summer then I will be a freshman. Wow time fly's. Nothing happened in 8th grade besides Jayden got a girlfriend named Angel. She is no Angel! They started to date toward the end of April so they've been dating for about a month and a couple of weeks. I still like Jayden and I havent had a boyfriend at all sense Tyler. I'm happy but sad cause one part of me says boyfriends are a waist of time then another side says theirs someone to hold you when your sad or to hold your hand. I still haven't had a first kiss yet also... But hey its ok I mean yeah I want one but I want my first kiss to be with the right guy. Its 2:15 and I'm about to go walk around the block and meet Jayden at a park.
I start to walk to the park and when I get their Jaydens already their.
"Hey Mads! You ready for tomorrow??"
"A little lol. What about you?" Little thing Jayden doesn't know I still like him. Well at least I think he doesn't know.
"Not really I dont feel like waking up early and sh**." We both laugh and go to a swing set.
"So how are you and Angel?" I always ask so just in case he hates her 👌😂
"We broke up like three weeks ago." He laughed looks like he's ok.
"Oh I'm sorry to hear that." YES! FINALLY I COULD GET A CHANCE 😜😜  On the inside that's how I feel... Outside I'm calm.
"Soooo" I say looking at the ground
"What?"
"I don't know I'm bored."
"Well we are at a park so let's play!" He got off the swing and pulled me off the swings too. Their was one thing were you hang on and it spins really fast.
"Here get on I will push you."
"Umm no I get dizzy."
"I won't go fast. I promise." He gave a fake smile and i claimed up. As soon as I got up my phone rang I go to answer but almost fall sense Jayden started to swing me.
"Ahh I'm on the phone Jayden!! Stop!" I laugh and I'm now upside down trying to see who I'm talking to on the phone still spinning!
"Hello?
"Hey Maddie its mom you ok?"
"Yeah I'm- Jayden stop." I start to laugh and slip a little.
"I'm slipping!!' He stopped it and I fell. Jayden saw me about to fall and he catched me.
"You ok?" He laughed a little
"Sorry mom yeah I'm fine lol. Love you byeeee."
"You jerk!" He was still holding me 'bridal style' I play slapped his chest.
"Sorry you were laughing and it was funny." He was laughing more.
"Put me down butthole!" He laughed and put me down.
"Tag!" Jayden yelled then ran away from me. I swear he's a kid.
"Your a child!" I yell and chased him. I tagged him and he picked me up and spun me around. We were both laughing. Were good friends. 😂😂👌. He put me down and looked at me for a while. He looked at my lips then back to me.
"Have you ever have a first kiss?"
He asked still holding my waist.
"No." He was about to lean in and kiss me when his phone rings. Some of a b#### stupid phone! Ughh. He pulled away and answered his phone.
"Hey."
"Ok I will be their in a sec. Bye." He came to me.
"I have to go home. Umm I'll text you later. Bye Mads." He walked away. What?!? Does he like me or something?!
{Jaydens POV}
What the h*** did I just do?? I walked away from the most amazing person ever. I don't even know if I like her.
                (Flashback)
(Texts between Jayden and Maddie)
J- Hey wanna hang out 4th of July?
M- Yeah sure!
J- Mk see you tomorrow
(Next day)
J- On my way.
M- Kk btw my mom wants to meet you cause ig she wants too meet my friends.
J-  Ok 😂
(At Maddie's house)
"Hey Mads. Happy 4th!"
"Thanks Happy 4th too you two. My moms over their if you wanna meet her. Wait shes coming over here."
"Hey you must be Jayden? I'm Marry Maddie's mom."
"Nice too meet you Marry."

       (Later that night over texts)
M-Hey can I tell you something??
J- Anything
M- I still like you like I did in 8th grade.... Ik u don't like me back but...
J- I like you too..
M- Really?! What about you and Angel?
J- Angels ok but I like you more.
M- Ok so I have to ask you a question..?
J- OK
M- DRH?
J- Huh?
M- Date rate hate?
J- Ohh date maybe,rate 9/10 hate no I could never hate you.
M- 😊

I don't like her anymore like I did 4th if july but why did I want to kiss her? Sh** I don't know. I hope she knows that I dont like her Do I?
