Chapter 3 Hanging With The Guys Pt 2

Y/n's POV

We all spilt up and the count started. Remember Y/n. Don't be too rough. You don't want to break their bones. It sounds hilarious but it's true. I was trained to hit enemy's joints with anything I could. That causes them to be weakened. But these paintballs are hard (don't...) and if I'm close enough, it's possible to get a bad injury. The horn went off. Indicating the game has started. I crouched a bit. Enough so I can run around normally, and so they have more of a chance to miss their shot. They usually go for the upper half of the body, so that's how they'll be positioned. I stop with my back against the wall and take cover. I peek my head and paintball gun out a bit and scan the area with my eyes. I look carefully in the shadows. I notice a bit of green that is faded in the darkness. I take to shots towards it.

"GAAHHHHHHH!" I hear two voices yell in unison. It sounded like Vylad and Zane. They walk out with a bit of a pained/angered expression.

"YOU SHOT ME IN THE ARM!" Zane yelled.

"How'd you even see us!? It was dark!" Vylad said. I didn't even answer. It's too risky. I ran towards a new location as I scanned the area in case if anyone else is hiding. Once I make it safely to cover, I take a quick scan. I notice a lot of dark areas, too dark to tell if anyone is hiding in them. I stay quiet so I could eat any movement. I then heard footsteps and small whispers.

"Be carful. Anyone could be hiding in the shadows." A voice that sounded like Garroth's said.

"Stop. You're bad at whispering." A more quiet whisper said. Too quiet to make out who it belongs to. But if I am correct, that the first voice is Garroth's. Then the second voice must belong to Laurence. They then walked in my line of sight. I didn't even hesitate to shoot them. Poot. Poot.

"GAAAHHH!" The both yelled in unison at the sudden sound. They look at their armor to see my blue paintballs (-_-) shot at their guts. They instantly knew who shot them. "Y/NNNNNNNNN!" They shout in unison. Man it's like they practiced that. I knew it was unsafe to stay in the same location since they literally yelled twice. I started to move around. Carefully. I'm out in the open since there's no other option to where my last two targets are. Travis and Dante. I step lightly as I slowly lo-crunch. In instinct, I ducked and shot in the direction of the crunch.

"Really!?" I see Dante looking at the paintball that I shot at his heart. I quickly turn around, expecting a sneak attack. I was right. I saw Travis aiming down his sights. I can tell if he shoots right now the paintball won't it me since it's not angled properly. Poot. And there goes my last target. Victory.

"TRAVIS IS PAYING FOR LUNCH!" I shout. First thing I said out of this whole game.

"You are just too damn good." I hear Laurence say as he walked up to me with Garroth.

"Apparently not good enough since he shot my arm." Zane said as he walked up to me with Vylad.

"Ay. It's kinda hard to tell exactly what your shooting of it's in the darkness." I told him.

"Then how did you see us?" Vylad asked.

"The green on your armor and paintball gun is bright. Just like every other color here. It stood out to me in the shadows. Plus, I have a good eye." I explained. We continued to talk about this as we returned everything and got back in the car. We made Garroth drive since we don't trust Travis. He might just drive us home so he can avoid paying for lunch. We decide to have lunch at IHOP for whatever reason.

Travis' POV

We decide to get some lunch at IHOP. All I hope (did u see it?) for is that they don't get too much to the point my wallet is half dead. Of course, I knew what I was getting myself into when I made that deal with Y/n. I just got too cocky. (Bawk bawk) On our way there, we kinda became idiots and started to act like children. Except for Y/n. He was in his own little world again. We probably wouldn't have stop if Y/n didn't realize that we were starting to drive off road. At that point, Y/n payed close attention to Garroth and occasionally making sure he knew where he was going. I'm not sure who's scarier. Y/n or Aaron. They can both be quiet intimidating. Granted, Y/n is about an inch shorter then Aaron. But even that's enough for them to tower over us if they wanted to. I wonder what the girls are up to? I bet they are at work. Damn it! We should have went to the maid cafe. Then again, we don't want what happened the last time. I looked at Zane and shivered. Well he's with us so that's not too likely to happen.

"Travis? You okay bud? You've been looking at Zane for a bit." Dante said which got me out of thought.

"Yup! Totally! Just...ugh, thinking!" I said. What the fuck was that?

"Are you sure? That sounded strange."

"To be honest, I don't know what the fuck that response was." I told him.

"Well keep it up, Aph and Kawaii~Chan might think of something." Laurence said.

"Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. I'm not dealing with their shipping crap. Especially Kawaii~Chan's." I said.

"Wait what now?" Y/n asked, but we ignored the question.

"Don't bring me along in this." Zane said.

"Vylad, can you explain to me exactly what they're talking about?" Y/n asked.

"Kawaii~Chan is really into shipping, which is like thinking of two people who you would thing make a great couple. Kawaii~Chan just gets a little~....well overboard. Aphmau just acts a little like Cupid but it's not that bad." Vylad explained.

"But don't mess with Kawaii~Chan and he ships. It never ends well." Garroth said. Y/n just nodded as we arrived at IHOP. Maybe Katelyn's at work. Wait, does Y/n even know she works here? We all got inside and sat at a table. I look around the restaurant and spot the blueberry head. I know her hair isn't that dark but I find it cute. I don't think she knows we're here yet.

"Wait wait." Y/n looked down with a hand on the side of his head. "So Kawaii~Chan ships EVERYONE, with someone?" He motioned to the guys who were explaining Kawaii~Chan creepy hobby.

"Yup! Kawaii~Chan just wants the world to fall in love!" Kawaii~Chan said. Popping out of nowhere.

"What the!?" Dante said.

"When!? How!? Why!? Dah!" I said out of utter confusement. (Is that even a word?)

"Speak of the devil." Y/n said as he let out a breath. But it wasn't out of fear. More like a coincidence kinda thing. I don't know words!

"Did Y/n~Kun know that Katelyn~Sama works here?" She asked.

"Katelyn works here?" Y/n asked. Kawaii~Chan just nods. "Well bring her over here."

"Alrighty! Kawaii~Chan will be right back!"

Kawaii~Chan's POV

Kawaii~Chan left the boys so she could get Katelyn~Sama for Y/n~Kun. Katelyn~Sama is still a little mad at him because of this morning but Kawaii~Chan will make sure that Katelyn~Sama doesn't hurt him. That way Kawaii~Chan can ship with someone! But who should Kawaii~Cham ship him with? Kawaii~Chan needs to find out soon! (Comment any1 u want 2 b shipped w/)

"Oh Katelyn~Sama! Kawaii~Chan needs you to come with her!" Kawaii~Chan called.

"Ugh, fiiinne. I'm coming." Katelyn~Sama said. She walked under to Kawaii~Chan and Kawaii~Chan instantly dragged Katelyn~Sama to the boy's table.

"Kawaii~Chan brought Katelyn~Sama!" Kawaii~Chan said with joy.

"Why thank you Kawaii~Chan. Hey Katelyn." Y/n~Kun said.

"Kawaii~Chan why did you bring me here!?" Katelyn~Sama asked.

"Because Y/n~Kun asked to see Katelyn~Sama and this is Katelyn~Sama's table anyway. Well Kawaii~Chan has to get back to work, bye!" Kawaii~Chan said as she ran off.

Katelyn's POV

"Kawaii~Chan get back here!" I call. No response. I sigh as I turn back to my brother and his new friends. To be honest I'm surprised he survived nearly three hours of these dorks.

"Well, sis. Didn't expect you to work here." Y/n said.

"Shut up." I told him. He just laughs a bit. I sigh and got out me notebook. "What would you like to order?" I groaned. They took their orders. Y/n making occasional jokes about me. If I weren't working right now, I would have went all out on him. Hopefully that would do something. Yesterday's encounter just proved one punch, (1PUUUNNNNCCCCH!) just isn't enough to bring him down. I went to get their orders and the chefs quickly made them. I brought the food back to the boys. They seemed to be enjoying their time. Well, most of them. Zane was alright....for him I guess. Y/n seemed a little quite, but he was getting along with them. I'm glad my big bro is opening up.

I did it! Another chapter. That took longer than it should have but hey, I have a life. idk my life is school, family, stories & YouTube. Anyways, bye my paparazzi!
