3rd Person POV

"Y/n!" The voice of a young female didn't fail to reach the said man's ears, causing him to look around the slightly crowded area a bit more frantically. Damn, why must she be so short!? Looking around for the young girl soon was no longer a task he had to worry about. She popped out between a group of people who gave her just enough room to bring over her two rolling cases and backpack with her. He smiled, seeing her attire made her stand out now that she was visible. Small net gloves with her left wrist having a fabric bracelet about to fall apart soon enough and her right wrist holding three different FairyTail bracelets, high waist shorts that had her tuck in her oversized FairyTail shirt, combat boots that he knows she took from her mother. She also wore a FairyTail necklace with its insignia and it was a bit surprising at this point that she wasn't wearing any earrings. "Y/n!" She called out his name once again as she ran up to him as best as she could.

"Celeste!" He called out her name with the same enthusiasm as he crouched down on one knee before he was tackled into a hug by the small girl who dropped the bags she was holding in order to do so. By small, it meant four-eleven. The same height as her mom, for now. He guessed she'd probably grow another inch before she's done. She'll be tiny forever. They backed away from the hug, both with their own smiles on their faces. "How's school?"

"Ugh... Harder than I imagined but it's all good. I'm glad you asked my mom if I could come! Luckily I'm on spring break and Ricky has a trip to DC all week so now you're stuck with me." The girl said as she placed her hands in her pockets for a moment.

"Yup. I'm stuck with your crazy self."

"Oh hush, you know you love it." Celeste said with a smile before picking up her fallen bags. Y/n would have offered to carry them for her but he remembers exactly how stubborn and independent she is. Unlike her dad, he won't just take her stuff from her. She's completely capable of carrying two small bags on her own. Besides, they're on wheels.

"Well then, if you have everything, let's go." He said with the friendly smile he wore not leaving his face, but it was more caring than his typical friendly smile. After all, Celeste was practically his niece. Celeste just nodded at him, signaling Y/n to lead the way to his car, making sure the small girl is safe and at his side. They had a light hearted conversation, doing so catching up. He then had a thought come to mind and he grew a bit curious to how the teenager would answer. "What's worse than a rapist?"

"A child!"

"No!!" He began laughing at her response. The fact that she said that with such an innocent face without hesitation was hilarious to him.

"So we're going to spend a night at my place, then the next night at a hotel right across the street from the convention. It starts the next day. At the end of the third day, we'll come back here immediately so we'll be able to have some more time to spend together before I send you back home Sunday. You got that?" He asked as the girl had just left her bags in a corner and out of the way.

"Yuppers. It's Saturday today so, what shall we do? We've got all day!" From the amount of energy she had which also seemed calm in a way, he can tell she took a nap on the plane.

"Well.... I didn't plan anything but we can head to the mall or something like that. I doubt you'd want to meet my neighbors." He's always known her to be a bit of an extrovert here and there but when it comes to being brought to other people, she definitely is in introvert.

"Eh... Me being an ambivert I'm kind of in the mix of being cool with it and just a dead no. I have no idea what they could be like. And they're adults right? I usually don't have anything I really have in common with them and if we do, they're not as passionate. I've changed a bit since you've last saw me so I don't know... How about you tell me about them and we'll see." The girl said as she sat on the couch in a crisscrossed position.
