Chapter 24: The Past

Toya pov

"No Ryan see you not getting what the fuck I'm saying, I literally got folks looking for me, including Lance people! I'm not safe because I listened to you! I shouldn't just left man." I panic.

"And they not going to find you Toya, what part do you not understand that?" He tried to calm me down.

"Any of it ! I don't have any money to leave the city, Ryan you didn't think this shit through." I yelled at him.

"Look we going to be straight, you fucked by letting him see you was messing with me." He snapped.

I rolled my eyes. "No, you fucked up when you was messing around with Eden. If you would've left that bitch alone we would've been straight, the plan was for me to come back, distract him while Lance get things straight in New Orleans." I screamed.

"Man Lance is straight." He tried to brush it off. "This whole time have Geno even mention the New Orleans thing?"

I kept quiet.

"Relax and just stay low.. I heard they pulled up on Bianca the other day so yea they are looking for you, but that's from you shooting Geno." He told me.

"Yea I know fucked up, I was just fed up at that moment with him hitting me!"

"Yea you did, but the worst thing is Geno house got put on fire-"

I cut him off. "It was Lance people." I told him.

Ryan mouth dropped.

"Why?" Ryan questioned and thought to him self. "I thought him and Geno just had a love hate relationship type shit, I mean like, Lance just told me if I could keep Geno distracted for while, so be can make sure he doesn't get that territory, then he'll pay me 50 G's.
Ryan explained to me.

"It was at first, but now Lance wants to take Geno out, before Geno tries to take it. Lance knows he's a bitch compared to G."

I could Ryan was still confused.

"Ok, but why if they have respect for each other and why he's after you?"

I sighed and sat down on the stair to tell Ryan everything.

"The day I ran away, Lance saw my walking down the street and he pulled me into his car. He told me that I owed him a favor and that was to help him get Geno back. I refused at first, but he promised me money and my life if I do. So when I called you to help me out and told you Lance wanted me to betray Geno, you told me to go with it. I thought you knew everything that was going on.
Lance hates Geno deep down. You
see, years ago before you joined, Quan ran both Houston and New Orleans. He knew the ins and the outs of everything. I use strip for him every night he came to the club. Around that time Lance was Quan's right hand man and Geno was the new yung'in in the group. Since they hung around the club a lot, Lance fell for me and I basically began part of the crew. One day Quan made a horrible business deal that got the FEDS involved. Quan told Lance if he takes the fall then he promise when he get out that he was going to take care of him. Lance went to jail and got out early on a plea. When he came home everything changed. Quan didn't really fuck with him no more and his girl , me was in Geno arms. Quan groomed Geno into being the way he is now. Lance end up taking Quan out in the end. Set to get revenge on Geno next."

Ryan sat back and thought to everything that I said.

"Damn man." I began rubbing the back of his neck.

"Yea, we both are in deep shit on both sides. Geno wants my damn head and he barley trust you, Lance ready for his deal to go through. I'm really just about to see if I can borrow something from somebody and leave for good." I told him.

"I'm going to go to Trix house and talk to her to see if I can get anything. See if she going to least tell me what Geno and Dirk been up too." Ryan told me.

We finished up our conversations and headed our separate ways. I maid sure to put my hoodie over my head before walking out.

What Toya told me, started to connect dots in my head. Even though the crew don't really fuck with me, Trix does.

I headed over her house to see if can get any information while we smoke a blunt together.

"Trix !" I called out her name when she answered her door.

"What's up Ryan." She dapped me up.

I walked in and I sat on the couch. "So why you out here nigga?" She asked.

"Man came to see what's been going on, checking up on my nigga." We both chuckle.

I showed her my blunt. "Awww shit let's go out back, hurry up before Unique come out and start tripping and shit."

I shook my head and we went out back and lite the blunt.

"So what's been up with the team or whatever?" I asked her.

"Man, G got his girl Eden running the show now, she so damn fine." Trix said all excited. I chuckle.

"Aww Yea she is a cutie." I added. I really can't believe Geno putting Eden in the game. What does this really got under his sleeve.

"What else?" I asked.

"Shid they still looking for Toya, and we getting new assignments that suppose to be bringing in a lot more money than what we been getting." She hit the blunt then passed it to me.

Before I could speak. Unique was standing behind the glass door with her hands on her hips. This girl had to be around 5'3.

"I know damn well you ain't smoking in my damn house!" She snapped.

"First I'm clearly out side and 2nd it's our house!" Trix snapped back.

They were arguing on each side of the glass door.

"Our son is here, and you doing this shit, I just can't with you!" Unique stormed off.

I choked. "Y'all son?" I frowned up.

"You know jr, that's my boy." I was still looking at this girl crazy.

"Man unique had the boy before we got together. His dad not in his so I'm his dad now."

I burst into laughter. Trix stared at me like I was dumb.
