IT'S 8:10pm ON A FRIDAY NIGHT AND I'M BORED out of my mind, stuck in class. There was still no sign of life on my phone. 'Abel what the hell, why haven't you texted?' my conscious groans. I was to occupied by my phone and why Abel wasn't texting back that I wasn't even paying attention to the lesson. Well, it's not like we we're doing much either way, but still having to sit through and hour  and  ten minutes, I couldn't do fifty more minutes anymore. I read over the early conversation Abel and I had hoping it would past the time. Hoping he would text back like he said he would.

Abel (206)-342-7667

Still on for tonight? ;)

I groan annoyed. 'I'm almost out of class text me already!' My conscious growled. What was keeping him so busy that he couldn't text back. I understand he's a lawyer at his own firm and that requires a lot of time consuming paperwork. Okay maybe I was being a little unreasonable. Although that doesn't excuse the fact that he couldn't text back sometime through out the day. I check the time on my phone which read 8:12pm. I was going to lose my mind if I stayed in this lecture hall for one more minute. I packed my things in my bag and headed towards the door. "Ms. Carter? Where do you think you're going?" I hear Professor Heartlock question. She was an amazingly beautiful brunette haired women, whom taught the Communications course at WSU. She was in her early forties or late thirties, had caramel colored eyes, and a magnificently fit and curvaceous body. "I'm going home, there's been an issue."

"And this issue, what would be?"

"That's kind of personal."

"Hmm, well I would advise you to stay, take some notes on how the speaker present themselves, their argument. We are presenting speeches next week."

"I know I should, but while the lights are off and everyone is distracted by the video I'll think this is the best time to make an easy escape without embarrassment."

"What do you mean embarrassment Ms. Carter?"

"I've seem to a personal issues, that's embarrassing."

"Oh. . .oh!" It finally clicked as to where I was taking my excuse. 'A period excuse really?' My conscious sarcastic remarks looking down and shaking her head at me. "Well, don't forget that you're speech is due next week Thursday. No later then midnight."

"Ok, I'll make sure to turn it in. Thanks for understanding Mrs. Heartlock, see you next Friday."

"Have a nice weekend."
