In the world of Gleron, you can only let your power decide your survival. One tower, a hundred floors, a hundred bosses. Get to the very top and kill every boss, and peace will rain over Gleron forever.
This story follows Jake, a human that constant...
"Humans. Whether humans should turn out to be the heroes or the villains, these chapters must show."
"Jake, lie there"
"Don't worry baby, It'll just take a minute. Mommy will cook you a nice meal afterwards. First, listen to daddy"
A man in a white coat yelled at me, a little boy. I crawled onto a metal bed. In confusion, I looked at the man as in asking the man what he would to me. I was also curious about the people behind the man. The man grabbed my arm and injected a light blue liquid into it. As he was doing that, I wanted to move away but his strength held me. I was just lying there as confusion ran through me. Not long later, I felt drowsy and fell asleep.
"He's waking, increase the anesthetic dosage."
I heard the words in befuddlement and fell to my sleep again. When I became fully conscious, I found that my parents and their assistants were looking at me with joy. It was as if I was an art piece.
"If Jake can truly control the dragon's power, we truly have succeeded."
"Come on, Jake, test out your new power!"
I looked down at my body. My original body, one of warmth, had become cold metal. I raised my head in fear. I turned to my parents, hoping to get a little comfort. However, my parents only said, "Show us your power!"
Uneasiness surged from my heart. Suddenly, a voice rung in my mind: "If they want to see it, just show them." My left eye shone with cyan light. The light condensed into blue dots in the air; they then merged together and synthesized two golden metal arms. The arms thrusted through my parents' body, prompting screams from the assistants. Some fainted from the fear while some ran desperately to the exit...
Just a moment later, me, frowning, walked out from the exit. Only a laboratory covered in crimson splatter and fragments of corpses remained...I rarely smiled since then. "When nobody regards you as a person, you dont need to be one."
That incident was five years ago, I remembered every single detail, it doesn't fail to grasp my smile when I remember it. But I moved on, every day after another, I was happier and happier, with my friends by my side, I'm standing with an army. And by the way, yes, I am a cyborg, and I hate it.... I'm 14 years old and I'm a little shy but once you get to know me, I get crazier and crazier. That's why "All the best people are crazy :)"
Now let's talk about my friends. There's Melanie, she's a little annoying sometimes but you just can't resist her sweetness. She's a demon with two pink curled horns on the top of her ears. But don't make her angry...because you wouldn't want to know what will happen next. Tho, when I make her angry, she'll just chill. She has long black hair and often wears white.
Then there's Adam, a human. I met him in powerschool. Here's how it went. So basically here's how we train ourselves ; the teacher picks a random guy and another random guy in the class to fight each other, but don't worry no one's gonna get killed. Once your health reaches 50%, you lose. And guess who got picked, yes, me and Adam. Right off the bat, Adam uses his skill Sacrifice IV (Uses his own health to attack others). My health reduces by 20% and his by 10%. I knew my health was low so I used Determination III (The lower your health, the higher your attack). But just as I was about to hit him he used Mirror XI (makes enemy's attack as an attack to him/herself) and I lost. "Hey, good game," I said to him. And there it was, the start of a new friendship. Oh, and he has some deep dark secrets, though I'm definitely not spoiling his trust on me.
