Chapter 12

Chapter 12- Heroes at every corner

I then arrived back at Sonic's and opened the door as soft as pillows. "Shadow, we were worried sick about you". I turned around to see blaze. "are you alright"? I then started going upstairs "Sophie is gone........forever". ~ 4 months later ~ Normal point of view: Me and Lily were are about to crack. "WERE NEVER GONNA GET OUT OF HERE"! yelled lily as she banged her head against the wall. "where is sonic"? "where is shadow"? "where is everybody"? I yelled. Lily then looked at me funny. "what"? I asked. "Have you gained weight"? "Excuse me"? I asked. "it's everyday you get bigger". I then looked away. "I didn't mean it in a bad way; I'm just worried about you". "lily, there's something I have to tell you". Lily then had wide eyes. "your not what I think you are"? I then nodded. "yes......I'm pregnant". Lily then gave me a hug. "oh honey, congratulations". "woah". "what"? she asked. I then smiled. "the baby kicked"."let me feel"! she squealed. She then put her hand on my stomach. "Awww". "that's so cute". We then heard a loud noise. "She's getting away, after her"! yelled Eggman. All of a sudden, the door swung open and there stood a baby pink hedgehog, with green eyes. "if you want to get out of here, then follow me". she said. "Yes ma'am". we both said as the three of us ran near the exit. Robots started heading our way. The pink hedgehog then blew them away, with a powerful gust of wind. She then picked them up her mind and destroyed them. Then more and more robots came running at us. "There's too many". Me and lily both said. "hold on". then the hedgehog grabbed both of our arms and flew off the ground. She then flew us out of the hole in the roof and took to the skies. ~ She then landed at a nearby cave and we hid inside while the robots search for us. "I think were safe". "Thank you for saving us". said lily. "what's your name"? I asked. "Nyla the hedgehog". "I'm Lily the hedgehog". "nice to meet you". nyla said as she and lily shook hands. "I'm Sophie". I said. "nice to meet you". I then shook her hand. "so, have any idea why Eggman captured you"? asked lily. "can you two keep a secret"? she asked. Me and lily both nodded. Nyla then took a deep breath. "I'm one of elements of power, one source of Mobius". Me and lily then looked at each other. "how very ironic". I said. She then looked confused. "We are elements of power, sources of Mobius too"! yelled lily excited. She then covered her mouth. "sorry". she whispered. "what powers do you have"? asked nyla. "well, I have fire power and dark magic". said lily. "Dark magic"? "OK that I didn't know about you". I admitted. "OK, what about you"? she asked me. "I have water power and chaos energy". "impressive". she said to both of us. "and what about you"? lily asked. Nyla then smiled "I am the wind/air element". "I can fly and have telekinesis powers". "wow, just like silver". blurted out lily. "who"? nyla asked. I then pulled out my phone and showed her a picture of me and the others. "see the silverish/white hedgehog"? Nyla then had wide eyes "yeah, I see him". She then started to blush. "oooooo". "someone has a crush". said lily. "what, I do not". I then began to smile. "don't worry, I was the same way with shadow". "well, sort of". I then pointed to him beside me. "ooooh, good choice". she said "this is our baby". I then pointed to my belly. "may I"?"go ahead". Nyla then put her hand on my belly and she smiled "oh, so cute". "you have to find a way back to Sonic's". said lily. "don't you mean we"? I asked. "no, only you". "sonic and them don't want me". I then gave her a hug "yes they do". "besides, I'm not leaving without you". "Egg man's robots are probably still looking for us". said nyla. "we should sleep here tonight". the three of us agreed. "I'd rather be cold than dead". the three of us then went into a comfortable sleep. Shadow's point-of-view: it's been 4 months since I last saw Sophie and I'm pretty sure she's not coming back. I then looked in the mirror at myself. "what could I have possibly done to hurt her so badly"? I asked in my head. I then went to my room and fell asleep. ~ the next day , I was still very upset. maybe I just need to take my mind off things. So I decided to go for a walk. "Hey shadow, wait up". I turned around to see Sonic and Silver, headed my way. "what do you two want"? I asked coldly. "we were gonna ask if we could walk with you". asked silver. "why"? I asked. "we figured you could use some company". answered sonic. (I probably don't have much of a choice). "OK, fine". Then we three started walking down the street. Normal point-of-view: I woke up fairly early to see lily and nyla still asleep. I walked out of the cave and let the wind blow through my hair and hit my face. I was suddenly grabbed by a hedgehog hand and the other covered my mouth. "we just keep running into each other, don't we'? said the voice of scourge. I started screaming in his hand. He then looked at me funny. "well, well, well". "I didn't know you were pregnant". I then froze in position. "OK striker, explode the cave, so we can take her and get out of here". "we don't need witnesses". He then smiled "don't worry scourge, there won't be". (oh no). I then kicked scourge where it hurts and he fell to his knees. Striker then grabbed me. "what to you think your doing"? He then threw me at scourge and he gripped me tight. "LILLY"! "NYLA"! "LOOK OUT"! I yelled. They then woke up. "what"? they yelled. Striker then threw the bomb and the cave then exploded. "NO"! "WHY"? I yelled in agony. The two hedgehogs then began to laugh. "Chaos Blast"! I yelled and blasted the two away from me. I then ran to the broken up cave. "Lily"! "Nyla"! I yelled as I coughed through the rubble smoke. I then bumped my head on something. "ow". I said. I looked up to see a forcefield. Nyla was protecting her and lily. "Guys"! I yelled. The forcefield then died down. "your okay". I hugged nyla and saw lily on the ground, unconscious. I then started to shake her "Lily, wake up". I said worried. I then saw scourge and striker on the distance. "You'll pay for that". said scourge. Scourge and Striker then started running towards us with knives. "No"! we both yelled. Then scourge and striker then fell flat on their faces, knocked out. "huh"? I said. "we had enough of you, Scourge". yelled a voice in the distance. I then saw three hedgehogs, heading our way. My eyes then opened wide. "Sophie"? "it can't be". "SHADOW"! I yelled. Shadow, Sonic and Silver ran towards us. I was scooped up into Shadow's arms as he kissed me for a good, 10 to 15 seconds, without stopping. "Shadow, she can't breath". said sonic. He then stopped kissing me. "I thought you left me". I then looked at him with hurt eyes. "I thought you weren't gonna come and and rescue me". "I never left you". "I was being held captive in one of egg man's bases". Shadow growled. "I knew it"! He then looked at scourge and striker (who were still knocked out). "I bet there working for Eggman". I then nodded my head. I then remembered something. "Lily"! I yelled. I then got down from Shadow's arms and ran to knocked out lily. "lily"? "lily"? I yelled. "let's take her back to my house". said sonic. He then picked her up and ran with her at high speed. (yeah, I can tell he still like her). Silver then came over to me. "who's the pink hedgehog"? he asked blushing. "that's Nyla". "nyla, allow me to take you to Sonic's house". She then nodded and he picked her up. Silver then ran off with her in his grasp. I then started to walk until shadow scooped me up again. "allow me". I then giggled as he ran me at high speed, back to Sonic's. (how much I miss him and the others).
