Waiting for My Princess to Wake

Finally everyone has left and I have time to stay with Ana to myself. Taylor and Sawyer have ensured that Ana will have continual security until she leaves the hospital. Though she has no clue there are threats to our security and I don't want the media to slip in and get a picture of her like she is currently.

She looks like Sleeping Beauty except for all of the equipment beeping and taking care of her. My beautiful sleeping beauty. The neurologist came in and told me that her swelling is going down and they will be able to take her out of the coma in a day. He's supposed to be the best according to my mother. I also have talked to the orthopedic surgeon about her twisted ankle, apparently she did rupture a ligament and a tendon in her ankle. She will be on crutches and in a walking boot for quite some time. He wants to do surgery after she goes through physical therapy due to the damage. Unfortunately since she's pregnant surgery will have to wait until after she has the twins. My poor princess is going to have a tough time in the next few months and with the added weight of twins on her ankle she's going to possibly need to either be on bed rest or in a wheel chair. I don't think Ana is going to be happy with either one of those options. I'm going to get her a scooter for her foot when she leaves so she can move easier. Her neck has a bit of whiplash, but the neurologist said it's healed well already. Dr. Greene has been back and checked on her and the twins and they are all doing well in the pregnancy department.

Ray was so excited to be a grandpa. He was beaming when he left. He's almost ready to leave the hospital. I'm going to arrange to have him move into a condo at Escala with a home nurse to ensure he has all the care he needs. I will talk to Gail to see if she knows any other house keepers that can take care of any of his needs as well. I may talk to Trevor MacGrill as well to see if he'd like to live with Ray, they seem to really be getting along quite well. I will talk to Taylor to help arrange everything as well. I will have to also get my lawyer to arrange the purchase of the condo. For now apparently Trevor is staying with my parents until this crisis is over. According to mom, his dogs are enjoying Bellvue and Gretchen is taking care of them. I guess he doesn't have much yard where he lives.

I need to call Ana's mom, she's going to be crying of course, but her reaction over Ana's pregnancy will be interesting. I guess I better call the photographer too, I just don't want to, but my manhood will be justified, I can't wait to tell him I got Ana pregnant with twins. His dick may shrivel up. The thought makes me laugh actually. That boy is still in love with my wife and this will put that love to rest hopefully.

A nurse comes in an checks Ana's vitals. She doesn't even give me a second glance, which is unusual. She's very professional.

"How is she doing?" I ask.

"She's resting comfortably. Her blood pressure is finally stable, her pulse is steady and her breathing is good. I need to empty her urine bag and replace her IV fluids. I'm going to have to draw some blood later. As you see her brain waves are also becoming much more steady. You know you can talk to her, she can hear you. If you play music she likes that will help as well. You should also rest Mr. Grey. That chair over there turns into a twin bed. I can get you a pillow, sheets and a blanket if you like. It has wheels so you can also move it closer to your wife's bed."

She points to a blue chair in the corner, it looks uncomfortable but it will do for me tonight, I just want to be close to Ana. I don't see how it can turn into a bed, but hey, I'll take what I can get. Scratchy hospital sheets and blankets with flat pillows are not what I had in mind, but I'm exhausted and I'll also take what I can get too. I guess I'll do with what I have for tonight, tomorrow I will have Taylor bring me a more comfortable pillow and blanket.

"Thank you, yes I would like some bedding, that's very kind of you. How do you change the chair into a bed?"

"Oh sir, there is a lever on the side, it's like a lounge chair, you just flip the lever up and the foot part goes up and then you lean back. I will bring you some bedding. Do you want some coffee or tea, or a bite to eat? We can help you out as well, so you can stay with your wife as much as you like."
