Chapter 3 Followed

~Prodigy~

I decided to go over to the school that we were gonna be performing at tomorrow night. I pulled up to the school and got of the car.

I began to walk up to the school when I happen to look at a kid for I don't know what reason and he looked over at me and he had no face.

I jumped back and bumped into someone. I turned around and apologized them, then looked at the kid, who now had a face.

I looked at him for a minute and, asked myself "what the hell did I just see?" I got snapped out of thoughts when someone tapped my shoulder. I jumped and looked at the man.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." He said.

"What?" I asked, still thinking about what I just saw.

"Are you alright?"

"Yea I'm fine, I just thought I saw something but it was nothing. Thanks."

"Have we met before? You look familiar."

"Look I see a lot of people so I don't know if we've met or not but I have to go."

I turned around and walked away because if there's one thing I've learned in my life time it's to never trust and dude in a trench coat.

I walked into the school and I guess it was passing time because there were kids walking the halls, trying to get to their class. I looked around at the school and it was cool.

Not ratchet or ghetto like some of the schools that we've been to but it was a nice and decent school.

I felt my phone vibrate, so I took it out and looked at it. I got a text from Prince. I didn't reply. I just put my phone back in my pocket and looked back up to see that the halls was empty.

Wow those kids are bout fast as fuck. I continued to walk through the halls and realized the lights were starting to flicker. Ok maybe I was wrong about this school.

I started to hear kids yelling, so I followed the yelling and saw kids throwing stuff at this one boy and yelling "Burn the warlock!" I walked away and over to a different room and found kids just staring at me.

I got creeped out by that and walked away. As I was walking the lights cut out and all I could think was "Oh shit". They turned back on and the school was destroyed. It looked a fire broke out.

I walked through the school slowly and looked around at all the destroyed stuff. I stopped when I saw someone or more like something, walking toward me.

This thing had no arms, or face but it had a mouth and it looked like ribs and skin. My eyes grew big and I began to back up but I ran into someone and the school flashed back to normal.

I looked down and saw that I knocked a girl down on the ground. She was light skinned, had brown hair with honey brown highlights at the ends of her hair.

"Oh I'm sorry." I said as I helped her up.

"It's fine but if you don't mind me asking, what were you running from?"

"Umm nothing I thought I saw something but I'm trippin, but what are you doing out of class?"

"Umm it's my first day and I'm lost, I can't find math. Do you have any idea were I can find math?"

"I would have less of a clue since I don't actually attend this school." I chuckled.

"Oh then what are you doing here?"

"I'm performing here tomorrow night."

"Oh well who are you?" I raised my eyebrows.

"You're kidding right?"

She shook her head no.

"I'm the lead Singer for a band called Mindless Behavior. I'm Prodigy." I held out my hand as I said that.

She shook it and smiled.

"Oh I'm sorry, I'm not really allowed to watch a lot of tv. Strict mom. I'm Valorie by the way."

"It's very nice to meet you."

"Same but umm I got to find class, so I'll see you around." She said as she started walking away.

I caught up with her and stopped her.

"Wait umm I want to hang out with you while we're here, so can I get your number?" I asked her.

She smiled and held her hand out. I gave her my phone and she put in her number, then gave the phone back to me.

"This is usually for emergencies only, but I've been feeling sort of rebellious lately so, text me tonight and I'll love to hang out with you." She said with a beautiful smile. She walked away and I watched her walk away too.

I looked down at her number and smiled, then I left the school. I got in my car and looked ahead at the trees across the street of the school, to see that guy standing there, staring at me.

I took my phone out and called Prince. He answered after three rings, with a funky ass attitude.

"What happened to 'fuck you guys.'?" He asked.

"Look I'm sorry but I think I'm being followed."

"By who?"

"I don't know."

"Maybe it's a fan, you know we got people that follow us everywhere." Really? Would I be calling you for a random female fan?

"No, this is a grown ass man in a trench coat and he is really creeping me out. Right now he's just standing by some trees, watching me."

"Ok umm don't come back to the hotel yet just meet us at the mall in the food court and we'll lose him there ok?"

"Ok."

"Aight Bye."

"Bye."

I hung up and started the car and drove to the mall.

I hung up the phone and looked at the boys with a worried expression on my face.

"What?" Roc asked.

"They're here and they're following him. We have to go to the mall." I said as I grabbed my keys.

"What the hell are we gonna do?" Ray asked.

"Lose them. Now come on."

I opened the door and everything went black.
