The world is in motion all around me

Everything is constantly going

While I stand here

Feeling like my feet is cemented to the ground

Trying to move forward

Trying to live life

But it's like everything around me is going in fast forward

To fast for me to catch up

So instead I continue to stand back

Watching my life pass me by

Not knowing how to fix the play button for my life...

So much has happened

Only we know how it's come to this

Remembering the good times we've had

Replaying all the bad ones over and over

Yearning for a chance to be us again
