MAVERICK

Guilty.

I felt guilty. Me. Maverick Rydel, felt guilty.
Over some girl I barley even know. Is that even possible?

Whatever, I need to call a Demon Meeting. We need to discuss how they knew where we were and how they got in.

"Alec. Demon Meeting. Now." I order as soon as he answers.

"On it." He replied instantly.

I put my phone in my leather jacket pocket and took my motorbike keys in hand as I walked out the door. I hopped on my bike and set out straight for HQ.

I pulled up on the driveway and parked the bike before marching in to meet my Demons.

"Mav." Calvin nodded as I entered the meeting room.

"Boys, we have a situation on our hands." I announced as I sat down at the head of the rectangular wooden table. "I need you all to ask everyone at that party if any of them saw The Prodigal's arriving."

They all nodded in unison before I started again.

"We need to find out why they attacked and what they wanted from us." I declared.

"Aye." They all agreed in sync before we all stood up from the table to set about our duties.

I am going to pay someone a little visit...

TIFFANY

Ugh.

I'm still getting used to the whole crutches thing. It's not going very well.

Right now I'm laying on the sofa, eating Tangy Cheese Doritos, Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough ice cream, Nutella with cucumber and stringy cheese sandwiches, and peanut butter Oreo's.
Anyone would think I'm pregnant. But no, I'm binge eating because I'm bored.

I texted Vince and asked if he wanted to come over for a bit if he wasn't busy, and he said that he's finished his work and that he's on his way.

I sign into my Netflix account and click on my favourite show right now. Lucifer.

Man, Tom Ellis is a handsome devil isn't he?
Pun intended.

A knock on the door brought me out of my thoughts about how gorgeous Tom Ellis is.

"It's open!" I called from the sofa.

"Hey, sweet cheeks." Vince saluted as he walked in over to the sofa.

"How's it going Vincentino?" I replied back as I flashed him a grin.

He slipped his leather jacket off and sat down in the single chair next to the sofa.

"Vincentino?" He chuckled as he got comfy in the chair.

"It sounds like Macho," I began before making my voice sound really deep and bellowy, "and it sounds dangerous and bad." I dipped my head lower - no doubt giving myself an extra 3 chins - and furrowed my eyebrows.

Vince through his head back and laughed at my silliness before I joined him.

"So, what're we watching?" He said as he turned his head to face the TV.

"Lucifer." I smirked at him as I raised an eyebrow.

"Lucifer?" He furrowed his brows as he turned his head to face me.

"Lucifer." I replied with a sly grin.

I turned up the volume and dug in to my peanut butter Oreo's as the episode began to play.
