Chapter 6: Silver Demons

TIFFANY

We were sitting in Louis' car when Emily decided to perk up.

"Okay, we need to go over some things..." She said from the passenger seat.

"You're not going to give us the whole 'don't take a drink from anyone, don't do drugs, don't go to a room with a stranger and-" I whined.

"-no! No, I'm not going to say all that. Not that it doesn't matter! Because trust me, it really does at our kind of parties you-" Emily rambled before Louis finally shut her up by talking over her.

"-What Em is trying to say," he spoke with annoyance lingering in his voice, "is that you have to be careful at these type of parties. Really careful."

I don't get what's the big deal about 'their parties'? All parties are the same right? Young adults getting drunk, maybe high, dancing, drinking, chirpsing girls/boys, etc. Why are they making this one sound so dangerous?

"Yeah. Now, when we get there, we're going to introduce you to a couple of our friends. Their names are Natalie, Hannah, Kai and Vince. They all know you're coming along, and just please make sure that you're with at leat one of them at all times." Emily informed us.

"I really don't fancy being babysat, and I doubt your friends will want to babysit us anyway." Kate shrugged.

"They don't mind." Louis smirked.

"Well, we do." I said as I glared at Louis through the mirror.

"Just please, for us? We want to know you're safe at all times." Em begged with sympathetic eyes.

"... Fine." I sulked as I crossed my arms and looked out the windows.

"Good girl." Louis cooed.

"Pictures." I glared at him with my arms still crossed.

"Which I have retrieved and are safe somewhere you'll never find them again." He told me with a genuine smile on his face.

"Ah, yes, but, I might have taken pictures of them..." I teased as I raised an eyebrow.

"You bloody bitch." Louis cursed as he gripped the steering wheel.

I could tell he was debating whether to argue or make a remark, but just in the nick of time, we pulled up to what I'm guessing was our stop. I hurriedly un-clipped my seat belt and dashed out the door as I ran on to the grass of the front garden.

"Can't get me!" I cried with a grin on my face.

It was only then that I took in my surroundings:
There were men ageing from probably around 20-45 scattered over the garden, smoke coming from their mouths, leather on their backs, some of the older men had beer bellies and the younger ones were downing bottles and bottles of beer. There were women that looked between 16-30 clinging to the men, wearing tight boob-tubes and mini skirts, some wore chokers around their necks and long, some lacey, some leather, boots. I felt really out of place right now...

"Tiffany!" Louis called after me as he practically fell out of the car and came running up to me.

"Don't run out like that. Please." Louis sighed.

"What kind of party is this?" I asked as I turned my head back round to observe the house.

"A-A gang.. Party..." Louis stuttered. I could tell he was unsure whether to tell me or not, but I'm glad he did. Now I finally know why they were so cautious about us coming, this place was dodgy as!

Emily and Kate came to join us quickly after locking the car.
Emily placed her hand on Louis's shoulder, which was covered in his black leather jacket. He was also wearing black jeans with black - also leather - boots.

My eyes wandered to his leather jacket and on the right side of it, there was a symbol. It was a vertical line with 5 horizontal lines across, getting smaller as they get close to the middle of the line. At the top of the lines there was a pair of devil horns. What the hell is that? I thought as I furrowed my eyebrows. Louis could clearly tell that I was looking at it as he stood up straight, causing his jacket to tighten around his chest and the symbol to be even more visible than before.

"It's the symbol of the Silver Demons." Louis informed as he straightened his shoulders as though he was a soldier.

"I'm sorry, this is a gang party?" Kate asked as she walked next to me and faced Louis and Emily.

"Yes. We are part of the Silver Demons' Gang." Em stated as she pulled down her left strap to reveal a tattoo of the symbol.

"How did I not know you had a tattoo?!" I exclaimed with furrowed brows.

"We didn't want you to get involved, but with the recent event, all of the Silver Demons members are in danger. Therefore you may have been involved later on anyway," Emily explained as she walked over to me, "so we thought if you come now then at least you'll know..." She continued with a nervous expression on her face.

"What recent event?" Kate questioned.

"The leader of our gangs' son has returned." Louis replied.

"Returned? Where'd he go that made it dangerous for all of you now?" I questioned.

"He's the one that escaped jail..." Emily said cautiously, knowing that we knew.

"Your part of his gang?!" Kate shouted gawking with wide eyes.

"Shh! You don't want to draw too much attention to yourselves.." Louis ordered as he used his hands to signal us to be quiet.

"You know what? Cool." I sighed.

"Cool? How are you 'cool' about this?" Kate scoffed.

"If they wanna be in a gang, they can be in a gang. They're 19 almost 20, I can't say anything." I explained with a blank face.

Obviously I wasn't happy that they'd spend their future in a gang. What would mum say? What about dad? Yeah, he's never home and dedicated to his work, but still- they love us all.
They can get into so much danger. I don't want to lose them...

Kate scoffed as if she couldn't believe I was so calm about this.

"Thank you, really. We thought you wouldn't take it well, but you have. So, thank you." Emily said with a genuine smile.

"It's okay.." I said with a small smile.

I guess it's alright. I know they'll look out for themselves and each other. I just hope this gang leaders' son doesn't mess up their lives...

Kate sighed before throwing her hands up in the air. "Well, if Tiff's okay with it, then I am."

"Thanks guys." Louis smiled.

"Now, let's get our party on!" I cried as I threw my hands up in the air.

Kate, Louis and Emily laughed as we made our way into the house.
