Hey guys, it's me.. Percy.. I haven't seen Nico in days. Annabeth and I were talking in my cabin and Nico overheard us. "I hate children of Hades," Annabeth had said, "They are broody all the time, and they always wear black."
I guess something in Nico snapped. Trust me, I didn't like what she had said either.
Nico burst in the door and looked Annabeth in the eyes. "Well, then since you hate me so much, you won't have to see me again. Is that satisfying to you?"
What Annabeth had said was obviously toward Nico. I mean, the only Hades kids we know is Hazel, Nico, and um, Bianca.... But Bianca is dead, Hazel wears bright colors, and Nico fits the description perfectly. It's a no brainer.
Anyways, Nico shadow-traveled away and I haven't seen him in a few days. About seven or eight to be specific.
I haven't seen him until I arrived at my cabin this evening. He was laying in the corner. Looked like he was starving himself, again.
"Nico?" I asked. He turned over facing the floor in response.
"Nico, I'm sorry about what Annabeth said. But you're a tough child of the God of the Underworld! Annaburp is just a child of Athena. Psh. Doesn't even have any powers. Pathetic huh?" I smiled. Nico mumbled "Mmhm.." in response and looked up at me.
"There's those beautiful eyes." I hugged Nico and stayed there for about five minutes.
"I love you." Nico said, burying his head in my shoulder.
