A/N: Hey there, so I'm really sorry about the lousy update schedule. I've been blocked due to personal stuff lately, but I've been trying to update my other story since I started that one first. I'm hoping this story will start to take off soon. I'm gonna shut up now. Enjoy this chapter!

It had been about two weeks since I'd turned 17, and for everyday closer to the full moon it became harder for me to control my wolf. Kane explained that since she had been suppressed for the first 17 years of my life she wanted to be let out now. I'd taken up jogging to keep her at bay, staying physical helped me control my temper.

Another setback was my hormones. Since my powers stopped being dormant, I'd been incredibly moody, my parents caught the majority of it. Luckily they just chalked it up to the betrayal I felt from finding out they weren't my real parents. However. I was also being majorly aggressive to my friends and peers from school. Sarah was no longer a problem for me. She had tried to come after me for the incident in the hallway that led to my first trigger. Her and her girls had cornered me in the bathroom. I don't really remember what happened, but Bae had told me that I'd walked out of there without a scratch on me, but Sarah got a bloody nose with a black eye to match, and her girls had refused to help after the first punch.

Speaking of cat fights- or she-wolf fights- Lu and I threw hands in the clearing during one of our pack meetings. She had been walking on thin ice all night, but I could only take so many of her side comments about me until my wolf snapped at her. Luckily, the fight was broken up by the others, but not before I nearly ripped her apart, as Bae told me. I couldn't really recall a lot of that incident either. When I got mad like that the human part of me blacks out. Apparently, since I haven't had my first change yet, the human part of me and the wolf part of me didn't quite get along yet, so I'd keep blacking out when I rage like that until both parts of me could get along and work together.

Besides my parents, Bae had been receiving quite a bit of my aggression, but since he understood what I was going through, he never fought back. He also probably felt obligated since he was my best friend. He was still shocked that we now shared the same secret, it was really unlikely that we somehow became best friends and both turned out to be wolves. Kane thinks our wolves were naturally drawn to each other when they were dormant, but Kane thinks a lot of things.

As it turns out, Kane is pretty popular with the party kids at my school. He'd been invited to this huge blowout happening at this kid Tommy Baker's house since his parents were out of town on some business thing. Anyways, Tommy had told Kane to bring as many people as he wanted, no mater who it was. So, naturally, he had invited the entire pack. Apparently werewolves were great to party with.

There were so many people at this party, including most of my pack. Lu and Damon didn't come since they never went to our school, but the rest of my pack was still in high school so it was fair game. The party had gotten pretty crazy, I'd only been here for about an hour and things had already been destroyed. Bae and I were still pretty sober, Kane was nowhere to be found, Finn and Tess were dancing together, both with red cups in their hands. Kai and Matty were taking part of an intense spin the bottle/seven minutes in heaven game.

I noticed my cup was empty so I leaned over to Bae and shouted over the music. "I'm gonna go get a drink, want me to refill you?!"
"What?!" He shouted back. I pointed to my cup and then his.
"Oh! Yeah, if you don't mind, thanks!" He handed me his cup and leaned back against the wall we had claimed as our 'people watching wall'.

I set off to find the punchbowl that had been spiked with God knows how many different kinds of liquor. The bowl had been relocated to the kitchen for a refill but was never moved back into the living room, most likely due to drunken laziness but I'm not judging.
