I woke up and sighed. Today is the day we're moving into an apartment. It makes me kind of sick in the stomach if I'm being completely honest. All our ties are to this house. These walls and the floors , they're ours. And now the house is going to be implement demonished to build a clump of houses for some selfish people to live in. Okay maybe they're not selfish; maybe I'm the one being selfish.
"Dan, get your lazy butt out of bed !" I slap him with a pillow. He got defensive. "What the fuck ?" He says
"What ? I wake you up like that all the time." I laugh, figuring he was just joking around like he always does. But the joking around seems different.. I joked around with him more this day. I couldn't put my finger on it but Dan just wasn't right.
