"I'll go see what it is." I finally decide to do the brave thing. Dan couldn't do it as he's stuck in bed so I have to step up to the plate.
I slide out of dans room using my socks. I turn the corner slowly to the kitchen. At first glance , no one is there. I get a sense of relief. I decide to check more closely just incase but there's nothing there in the end.
I go back to dans room. "It was nothing. Why don't you go back to sleep for a little bit. I'm going to go edit a video." I tell him as I'm shutting the door.
"Okay." He says
"I love you." I tell him
"I love you too." He says, which makes me have a sour face. When we first said I love you we decided that we would never say I love you too and it would just always be I love you. I thought that was odd but he's sick so i let it go.
