3 years later in 3rd person POV
She sat in the seat across from him. Watching intently. And he was playing the drums, to their song. Adam's Song. She sat in utter silence until the song was over. While she listened she looked down and smiled about all the things they had been through together. She fiddled with the ring on her left hand and smiled.
While he was playing he kept noticing the ring shining on his left hand. He constantly smiled. And finally, in the last beat of the drum, he stood up and walked over to the speaker. The next thing the two people heard was "Californiacation" by The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
And together, they danced. His arms around her waist and her hands around his neck. Swaying back and forth. "Thank you" he whispered in her ear while on the verge of tears.
"For what?" She asks.
"Being here, when I need you." He said and kissed her. He held his wife tight and didn't let go. Even after the song turned off. And it was silent. They stood there hugging for the longest time.
"I've always been there. And I'm never going to leave." She said.
The next morning, the girl woke up and started getting dressed to go to work, the man came up to her with a jar. It was the jar they used to save up for things. Though they weren't sure what they wanted to save up for, they still put the coins in the jar.
"I know what we're going to do with this money." He said.
"What are we going to do with it?" She asked.
"We're gonna travel all over the world."
