•Chapter 17•

Jordan's POV

Ash took my hand and we walked outside. He didn't have a car since he rode in the ambulance with me. So he called an über. As we stood there waiting for it we just talked and looked at the sky.

"So how long was the surgery?" I asked.

"Well, I slept through most of it, I'm assuming it was about 4-5 hours? Maybe? I don't know." He answered.

"Are you in pain?" He asked.

"I'm a little sore, but it's nothing too bad." I answered.

"What time is it?"

"3:45 pm"

And then the über pulled up. Ashton opened the door for me and then walked around to the other side of the car and got in.

*skipping the car ride cause it's boring*

When the über pulled up to the drive he told us how much it would be and Ashton paid. "You two be date and use protection." He said.

"Thanks for paying Ash." I said and I gave him a kiss on the cheek. We walked inside seeing that it was now 5 o'clock. But, the place was a mess. Furniture was all over the place, and blankets and pillows were too. So I looked over to Ashton and said, "Look, this place is a mess of chairs, couches, blankets, and pillows. So there's only one things to do." I said giving him a smirk.

"And what's that?"

"Build a fort!" I exclaimed.

*one hour later*

Our fort was completed, we hung fairy lights all around it and it look so pretty.

[A/N] okay this is goals.... I'm jealous.

"Ash! It's gorgeous!" I told him. He smiled at me when there was a knock on their door.

"Jordan, can you go upstairs in case it's someone who wants to hurt you again." And with that I ran upstairs and hid in my room.

"Hello?"

"Hey Ash, here's Jordan's medicine you forgot to pick up."

"Alright, thanks mom."

"I called the school and said you and Jordan are gonna stay home for a little bit. I'll pick up all the make up work on my way home and drop them by. Just make sure you take care for her alright son."

"Yes ma'am." And then the door shut. I went downstairs to see the medicine I had to take.

"That was my mom. She dropped by some meds for you to take and told me that-"

"I heard babe." I said. I noticed his eye widen too.

"What?" I asked.

"Well, you've never called me babe before."

"Well, I will now. Babe." I smirked. He ran to me and picked me up. He swirled me around and kissed me. It was amazing how much he loved me. But even more amazing how much I love him.

"Now, I say we get started on that Mac N Cheese and movies." He sat me down. He held my hand and walked me over to the fort.

"Now get comfy and pick a movie." He said handing me my laptop. I logged on Netflix and browsed through the movies. And finally I chose our favorite movie. The Pursuit of Happiness.

"What're we watching?" Ash called from the stove.

"Take a guess." I said. "It's obvious."

"Then I'm gonna guess... White Chicks?" He guessed. Man that's a good one though.

"Nope."

"Hmmm, is it... The Pursuit of Happiness?" He asked.

"Bingo babe!" I said remembering the 'babe' conversation.

"Sweet! The Mac N Cheese is done too, hot n ready!" He laughed. And with that he brought a big ass bowl full of Mac N Cheese and two forks. I press play and the movie begins as we dig into the huge bowl of cheesy pasta.

*after the movie*

"That was as good as every other time!" I smiled. I looked over and Ash was asleep.

"Awww babe!" He looked like a cute little kid. I slowly got up from the fort and walked upstairs to change into my PJ's. When I was done I walked downstairs to see Ash still asleep so I lied down next to him and snuggled him. And I slowly drifted off into a deep deep sleep.

[A/N] Hey guys sorry that I didn't update Wednesday. I'm visiting my hometown. But I updated today and tried to make it a little longer. Honestly, Jordan and Ash are goals like, I just can't even.
