Monday came a little too fast for Niall but it was time to face the real world, he was ready to get A's in all of his classes, he set up the alarm, got his clothes ready and his school bag done the night before, so when the alarm went off he just went to take a shower, of course his roommate stuff was everywhere, but Niall didn't want anything to get mix up and then had to ask his asshole of roommate for it, so he had his special shower bag to keep everything in its place, a few of his classmates used to make fun of him when he got the shower bag out after P.E. but Louis told him that it was amazing so he kept it, Louis was his rock.
When Niall got out of the bathroom Liam was still asleep face down in his bed, maybe he didn't have classes in the morning so he just let him sleep, he was such a good person, he deserved a better roommate, really.
His classes were good, but it was just the first day, he got a list of books to buy, things to get done already, but it was okay, nothing Niall couldn't handle, he was known for being a nerd anyway.
He got in his last class for the day, History it was his favorite, so he took a good place, in the middle of the classroom, he figured that it'd be better because the back of the class was for the clowns or the people that didn't want to take the course but went with it because it was easier, how wrong they were, Niall thought, and the people in the front best known as the teacher's pets, Niall would have sit in there but he didn't want to make the wrong impression of himself the first days so the middle of the room was going to do for the moment.
People were already taking place in the room when he saw a boy take a place next to him, for his surprise. He was top model gorgeous, he was tan, hazelnut eyes, dark hair shaved just on one side of the head, he wore a band t-shirt with ripped sleeves and dark tight jeans, dead drop gorgeous but not Niall's type, it wasn't like he could get a boy like that; so he just sat there quiet waiting for the class to begin but the boy talked to him
"Hey I'm Zayn" Said the boy looking at Niall with a grin on his face that fitted him way too much
"I'm Niall" said while blushing because a hot looking guy was talking to him, thank you very much!
"Are you taking the course as an extra or is it in your schedule?"
"It's in my schedule, I'm English mayor so I have to take it" Said Niall a little more confident
"Oh that's great, I'm English mayor too, how come I haven't seen you here?"
"I'm a freshman, so yeah, I haven't been around here" said Niall watching the room get filled with people
"Oh that's why, I'm actually in third grade, but I held back history because my friend wanted to fill in his schedule with this class but he had it until 3rd grade, wanted me to take it with him because he's rubbish at it, so this is me being a good friend for an asshole that hasn't been here since his first class" said Zayn laughing "He's studying engineering"
"Well maybe you should call him, maybe he overslept" said Niall trying to keep the conversation going but Zayn talked enough for both of them
"Maybe, he does it a lot, football leave him all drained"
"Oh that's probably why, my friend Louis is in the team as well, he got an scholarship, his first meeting with the team was yesterday, don't know if he actually trained, he hasn't talked to me since before the meeting" said Niall as the teacher walked in and got himself all settled
"Well I hope this is the last time he does this because the teacher's tough, he gave me literature last semester" said Zayn while pointing at the teacher
The class began and Niall learned that the teacher was in fact tough, he asked for three different books, and the first essay of 5,000 words of why they thought that History was important along with a few facts from books, so it was a rough start for his first day.
At the end of the class Niall got Zayn's number, Zayn being the nicest person Niall met offered his number for anything Niall needed in his first semester or for any class that he had trouble with. Niall also learned that Zayn was straight and had a girlfriend that waited for him at the end of that class, beautiful girl, perfect fit for Zayn.

When Niall arrived to his room, everything was the same as he left except for the fact that Liam was no longer face down on the bed, he was now dressed in normal clothes and sat on the chair like he had been waiting for Niall to get back.
Niall put his school bag in his night table and was getting his phone out to text Louis about his first day and ask him about his day and his football meeting the night before when Liam talked to him
"Why didn't you wake me up? I didn't make it to my first day of school thanks to you" Liam said angry at Niall
Niall flinched at the tone of his voice, he was ready to apologize when a wave of anger came over him, Liam had no right to talking to him like that, he was no child and Niall wasn't his mama
"It isn't my responsibility, it's yours, so don't blame me for your laziness" Niall said sitting in his bed with his phone in his hands already texting Louis and trying to ignore Liam, he had just a few minutes to get everything done for his first ballet class
"You could have been a good roommate you know? No harm in waking me up"
"Like you are a good roommate" said Niall rolling his eyes at Liam, this was a rough start for both of them
"What does that even mean?" said Liam taking a step toward Niall's bed
"It means that you didn't have time the whole weekend to being a good roommate and explain to me how everything works in here and left me to figure it all by myself"
Niall had no time to fight with his roommate so he got up and grabbed his ballet bag and his phone and left the room with no other word at Liam.
Before making it out the main room, he made a little stop to the office
"Excuse me, is it too late to request a new roommate or a room?" Niall said to the old woman sitting in the front desk
