When Emily entered John's room she expected it to be a mess, because of everything else of his. She just put together the fact that he was a messy person, but she entered to a clean room that smelt like his wonderful axe deodorant. That is one reason why she loved getting close to him. She took a large whiff of the smell, then slowly exhaled. "Mmmmmm."

John looked at her with a smirk. "Did you just want me to take you here to see my room?" He laughed but wispered at the same time.

"No, the whole dad thing is true. But your room smells exactly like you." She wispered.

"Is that good or bad?" His smile left his face.

"Depends. Do you think you smell good? Or bad?"

"I don't worry about that." John said as he turned and fluffed his bed pillow.

"Well if you ask me it's good because you smell good."

"Okay then silly." John laughed. "Now close your eyes."

"Why we're dating?" John looked at Emily with a surprised look. "It's only your shirt."

"Good point." He pulled off his shirt then went to his closet and took out a jacket. "Here so you can sleep in something more comfortable." He said as he tossed the jacket at Emily.

"Why a jacket?"

"Because all girls take their boyfriends jackets."

"Can I have a shirt instead. You know because the zipper will be uncomfortable."

"Ugh fine." John said in a playfully annoyed matter. And then he hung up the jacket and grabbed a shirt. "Here happy." He threw the shirt.

"Yes. Turn around please."

"Why it's only your shirt?"

"Because instead of abs, I have boobs now turn around."

"Ah, c'mon."

Emily slightly glared at John. "Please."

"But you made me strip for you."

"Made? Strip? If you call that making and striping then there's something wrong with you."

"Okay fine, you didn't make me strip. But I still got half naked in front of you. When no other girl has got the pleasure of that."

"Are you saying I should be happy you 'stripped' in front of me?"

"That's exactly what I'm saying."

"Oh my god, I feel so lucky I might as well as make out with your face until it falls off." John looked at Emily with a surprised look. "Did I over react or make it perfect?"

"I don't know but I don't think I want to re-encounter that Emily."

"Good, then turn around before you run into that Emily again."

"You know I was kidding, I kinda liked that Emily." John said as he slowly walked towards Emily.

"Oh yeah."

"Yeah."

"Well then." Emily pushed John on the bed and gestured him to turn around. And when he did she changed her shirt. "Okay you can turn around."

"Okay." John turned around and got off the bed. He then took off the bed sheets. "Get in bed butter cup."

"Okay." Emily jumped in bed and felt John's soft skin slowly run onto her back. And his arm wrapped around her stomach pulling her closer to his body. She could feel every detail of his body, every flexing muscle holding her tight. Every ab up against her back. And every heartbeat along with his breath blowing her hair slightly. And for once in her life she felt more protected than ever. Her father holding a gun guarding her as she slept in the zombie apocalypse wouldn't even come near this. She finally slept in the most comfortable way ever. And when she fell asleep she wasn't only comfortable, she had a smile that would not leave all night. When she woke up she knew it was the morning, because her safety felt as if it was gone. And when she rolled over she saw that John was on his phone playing a game. "Morning?"

"Oh, morning butter cup." He looked away from his phone with a bright smile.

"Whatchya doing?"

"Talking to my mom, she said she made me a breakfast sandwich before they left. Do you want the Cooke's one or slightly cold one?"

"Do I even have to answer?"

"Alright cooked one it is." John jumped out of bed he still wasn't dressed.

Emily followed him to the kitchen, after she grabbed her phone from her purse. "Well there's a million texts from my dad. The only thing is. Do i tell him I'm at a friends because I didn't want to go home after Myra and I got in a fight, or that I'm at Myra's?"

"Well if you say Myra's then, he might go there for you and freakout when your not there." John said as he put a pot on the stove.

"Good point. I'll just do the first."

"As long as I'm out of the picture I'm fine."

"Well now just because you said that your going in the story." Emily said as she looked at john with a smirk and a bounce of her eyebrows.

"I can't even say anything, your to distracting in the morning."

"And I'm not distracting any other time?" Emily lost her smirk.

"No, your just really distracting in the morning."

"Pft yeah right."

John looked at her. "You seriously are. With your messy but yet curly beautiful hair, and no makeup. You look like you could slay the world. Because you are."

"I'm slaying the world?"

"Uh yeah." He went back the egg he was cooking.

"And your not messing with me?" John shook his head as a response. "Okay then." After breakfast John got dressed and Emily got back in her shirt.

"Hey butter cup! Before you leave you should brush your hair. Oh and take this." John threw his favorite sweatshirt.

"This is your favorite though."

"And your my favorite, now get over here." John grabbed his mom's hair brush and brushed Emily's hair. "I'll see you at school Monday." He said as he brushed hair off her neck and kissed it.

"See you Monday." Emily headed for the door.

"Butter cup!"

"What?"

"I love you."

"I love you too." Emily left and went home to her furious dad. "Dad I'm home!"

"And where you all night?"

"Dad I told you I went on a drive with a friend and Myra. Then Myra and I got in a fight so I went to a different friends. I didn't want to go home at the time. And not only at that time but all night."

"Why? We are your family!"

"One of you is family by marriage. And one thing you two have in common is that I hate both of you and I wish you weren't in my life. THE ONLY REASON WHY IM STILL HERE IS I HAVE NO WHERE ELSE TO GE SINCE MOM IS IN REHAB!!"

"GO TO YOUR ROOM YOUNG LADY!!"

"I'D BE GLAD TO!!!!" Emily slammed the door shut and went to her room.

Later on her dad walked in her room. Unplugged her laptop and grabbed it, along with her phone. "No electronics besides your TV. That's the only thing your not grounded form. Oh and you also can't see any friends."

"But dad that's not fair."

"Your tone this morning is not fair."
