are you blind?
can you not see me before you
or is it that she's in your spotlight
and I'm in the shadows
because, dear friend,
I know she's all I'm not
but I'm all she's not
and I'll love you where she won't
or do you choose to look away
and turn to her
then, friend,
I hope you're happy like this
but leave me
because I cannot endure
the endless heartache
of you choosing her.
