love is an ambiguous woman
in some she lies in their stomachs
fluttering around and pushing against the skin
in others she rests in their minds
curling between chilled skulls and nesting in the back of their heads
forever present
for the rare few, she invades their hearts
making it fatter and plumped with a burning fire of lust and adoration
but for me she intertwine herself with my soul
sending spirals of electric passion through my bloodstream
filling my head with thick fumes of desire
only clearing to focus my attention on the intense pigmented colour of your eyes
she explodes in my stomach like a thousand caged dragonflies set free all at once
to say one has been in love is incorrect
for i believe profusely that love seeps into us
in the moment we lock eyes, hands and lips
with the only person love wants to share us with
