it starts in my chest
strongest and most persistent
then it spreads out
dragging my shoulders down
a heavy feeling in my stomach
it runs down my my legs
making them ache too much to move
and it poisons my head
making too much noise
and making the silence around me stand out
i have never understood why i feel this ache
this heavy feeling of the wrong emotions
all i can understand is you are the cause
