The next day

Elli's POV

Right now it's 11:30 am and Sophie is at my house helping me pack. we just finished packing my dresses and coustumes, since Sophie and I like to pretend to be princesses. Don't judge us, we're 6!!!!! Anyways, we just started packing my shirts and pants and I decided to tell Sophie something.

" I'm going to miss you so much, Sophie. "

" Me too. I wish you didn't have to move. " Sophie says packing some of my dolls into boxes.

" Why did my parents have to switch works?! " I exclaim. WHAT IS LIFEEEE !!!!!!!!

" Hey! Why don't we make memory boxes or something to always remember each other? " Sophie says putting down the box smiling shyly.

" That's a great idea, let's go ask my mum if we can use some small boxes. " I say, putting the clothes we started to fold aside

" Mummy! " I yell running down the stairs, Sophie following me behind.

" Yes girls? " she says while packing plates.

" Soph and I wanted to make memory boxes, so can we have some small boxes, please? "

" That's a great idea, and sure, wait here and I'll get some boxes.

5 minutes later my mum brought Sophie and I some boxes and we went straight to decorating.

" I'm going to paint my box blue and green because those are your fav colours Soph. "

" I'm going to put lots of sparkle and diamonds 'cause you love sparkles."

We spent an hour painting and decorating our boxes, then we finally got to put things into them. I'm so excited.

" Let's find things that bring back memories. " I say trying to think of places Sophie and I have had good times.

" We had lots of great times at the park, lets go there.

" Okay, let's ask my dad if he can take us now. "

At the park

Sophie's POV

We arrived at the park. Just like the old times.

" Huh, I'm going to miss coming to the park without you, Elli. "

" I know, we had really fun times here, and now we won't get to do them anymore. "

We walk over to our spot, which are the swings. We like to hold hands while we swing and have the wind bristle through our hair. Today was different, there was never a day when Elli and I came to the park without playing on the swings. Elli and I once found two heart shaped rocks and we hide them under the swings, which surprisingly no one took them. I picked them up and handed one to Elli.

" Aww it seems like just yesterday when we found these rocks. "

Elli said putting it in her box. I remember when Elli and I found those rocks. Our parents decided we needed a playday together so they took us to the park. We both didn't say much to each other when we were yonger but we both decided to play on the swings. We were high in the air when I noticed something shimmering under the woodchips, even Ellizabith noticed, so we both jumped off our swings and looked under the woodchips to find those exact rocks we're holding today.

" When we found those rocks I knew we were going to be best friends forever because there were two rocks for the both of us. " I say.

Then Elli and I threw in some more rocks that we just found and to top everything off we put some wood chips in too. After we were down at the park we drove back to my place.

At Sophie's house

" Let's go to my room and see of there are any toys we can give to each other. "

I say, both of us sprinting up to my room. I'm gonna miss doing this with her.

" Hey isn't that the doll we got on our fourth birthday? " Elli asks me.

" Yup. Do you still have your's? Maybe we could put that in. "

" I do and I'll put mine in when I get home. "

" Okay. " I say as we continue to look for things to add to our memory box.
