Arriving in the palace

Grace PoV
A week later I was on my way to the palace. The palace was in California so I had to take the plane. Rebecca and Hanna stayed close and I was like the outsider, but I was used to it. We entered our private plane and I saw another girl. She was reading a book and she looked up. She grimaced at Rebecca and Hanna, she smiled at me and waved me over. "Hey, I'm Helena!" She said and I smiled. "I'm Grace!" I told her. "Do you know the Barbies?" She asked and I sighed. "Since kindergarten, we aren't close. They hate me and Ido t know why." I told her and she squeezed my hand. "That makes you my new best friend!" She told me and I grinned. Then Kate West entered the plane, we stared at her. "Please girls, don't stare you make me feel uncomfortable!" She said laughing, we just nodded. "Okay then." She said and sat down before me and Helena. We nervously smiled at her and turned to each other. I told her about me and she liked Alex a lot, she thought he was hot. And I disappointed her when I told her he was gay. Kate tried to get in our conversations and we let her, we were laughing and she was pretty cool. We arrived in California and they lead us to the palace. They sent us all to a stylist, mine was a gay guy. "You're blond and those eyes are so colourful, you're gonna get a tan so I guess we are going the Coachella way!" He told me and I was happy about that. The Royal family wore normal clothes in their house so we too, but no long pants or chill clothes.

Helena had a hipster style, Hanna and Rebecca tight clothes. Kate had the same style as me, Helen told me I should be worried. I just shrugged it off, it's not like I wanna win. We were lead to a room where the Royal family was waiting on us. The King had a suit on, the queen a nice dress. Jasper

Sarah, had the same style as me and Kate.

They were all tanned and smiling at us. Sarah her eyes fell on me and she smiled harder. "Welcome, ladies!" King Maximus said with his arms open. "I hope you had a good journey! You're personal stuff will be brought to your room, but now you'll have a five minute talk with my son Jasper." He told us, his enthusiasm was so bright. You just had to like him. The girls smiled widely and stared at Jasper, I looked around. It was beautiful all in the form of a real palace. The King, Queen and Sarah left. Jasper looked at us and smiled. "Let's start! Rebecca?" He called and Rebecca walked to him, her hips swinging in a seductive way. He took her hand and lead her to another room. We sat down and all the girls were checking their hair and makeup. "You're the only one that isn't freaking out. Are you on drugs?" Helena asked and I laughed. "No, I just want it less than you guys." I told her and she nodded. "Well one down already." She said and I smiled at her. "This situation looks so sick, me and Grace are the only ones who control our nerves I guess." Kate said and Helena blushed. She was second and came out with a big smile. She told us everything, that she made him laugh and he was the best boy she ever met. Kate was next and her time lasted more then five minutes, girls started to complain and said it was because she was famous. She finally came out with a brilliant smile. "You were in there longer than 5 minutes." Hanna accused her. "Sorry we lost the time." She told us and I nodded, but the rest glared. I was the last on, I shuffled inside and looked at the architecture. It was so beautiful! "Grace?" A soft and warm voice asked, I looked at Jasper and e gave me a warm smile. He pointed at the seat over him, I sat down and looked at him. "You like the architecture?" He asked and I smiled shyly. "Yeah, it's always the first thing I look at. Sorry." I told him shyly and played with my fingers. "Nothing to be sorry about. I think it's something good about you. You like architecture?" He asked and I chuckled. "Kinda, I'm more into archeology, but the two sometimes collied. Like the architecture in old Egypt." I told him and he looks interested. "You're interested in old Egypt?" He asked me excited and I nodded. "I wanna be an archeologist and focus on old Egypt. Like going there and finding new things. Learning things about their culture and language." I told him, he smiled. "I been there once, I stayed there for two months. I helped some archeologist, we found a body from a child. They thought me some hieroglyphics and about there religion." He said and started to tell me stories, I found it extremely fun to talk to him. It wasn't boring or awkwardly, I felt on ease. He was telling me how they found the child. They went to the desert and the child was berried like the poor people would do it. He had a little figurine with him. A guard had to tell us time was over. We stood up and Jasper gave me a hand, he held it tight. "I would love to talk to you again, Grace!" He told me and I blushed, he chuckled and lead me outside. "Ladies, you were all a pleasure to have! You can go to your room except the next five girls!" He said and called five names. Rebecca, Hanna, Helena, Kate and me weren't called. I went to my room and it was gigantic. There were two maids, the looked so stiff. "Breath." I told them, they frowned. "You look so stiff, I'm not gonna kill you. I can be your friend!" I told them as they frowned deeper. "Please." I begged and they finally breathed. They told me about the palace and did my make up and hair over again. I was ready for dinner and I walked there and I saw Helena and Kate. We walked together. The dinning room  was beautiful. We had to wait for the Royal family, I was looking at the architecture. Somebody laid his hands on my shoulder. "Looking at the architecture, are we?" He whispered. I turned around and saw a smirking Jasper, I blushed and he walked to the head table. The Royal family sat at the front, but there was a seat next to Jasper free. "My son would want the company of lady Kate today at the seat next to him!" Queen Elizabeth announced, her voice was kind and soft. Rebecca smiled brightly and some girls were glaring at her. I sat down next to Helena. "What did he whisper to you?" She asked me worried. "Something about the architecture, that's the only thing we talked about." I told her and  she seemed to relax. The food came and it was a lot. "How on earth are we gonna eat that?!" A girl wondered out loud, everybody turned to her as was crimson red. "With our mouths, my dear Hayley." Jasper said and we laughed, she blushed harder. I took fish and Helena salad. We were talking about teen wolf. "I cried when Alison died." I told her and she nodded in agreement. "She and Scott were like goals, now I just want Lydia and  Stiles together!" She said and I smiled. "We should watch the new season together!" I told hand and we high fived.
After dinner we were free, but Kate was staying with Jasper. I walked to the gardens and sat down on a bench, looking at the roses and other flowers. I wanted to take my pencils and papers and draw them. "You really love watching things, huh?" A voice behind me asked and I turned around, it was Jasper. I blushed and he sat down next to me. "You blush a lot." He told me and I looked at him. "I think it's cute." He said and our eyes locked, I felt a connection and I stood up. "Good night, majesty!" I said and bowed, he was confused. "Would you not stay a little longer?" He asked me, standing up. "I have a jet leg." I explained and he looked disappointed. "Sleep tight, dear." He said and walked away. I got butterflies in my stomach when he said dear. I shrugged it off and walked to my room. My maids made a bath for me and I took a long. They got me ready for bed and I fell asleep thinking about that connection...
