The first meet

It was a week later and I was anxious, they were coming today. They were her and in five minutes I was going to meet them. They were now in the makeover studios, got lessons about how to act around the royal family. And now they were done and they were heading here. Mom touched my hair and kissed my cheek. "Relax, you look beautiful and they will be okay. If you dad could find me, I know for sure you can find your soulmate." Mom told me. "I thought I already found him." I muttered, she caressed my cheek. "I know how it feels. A broken heart. You only had a two weeks to get over it, I had a few months. And those weren't even enough for me, it must be ten times worse for you. But the boys will be a distraction from it. Take those words to your heart." She said kissing my forehead. "Your majesty, they're ready for you." A guard said bowing for my dad, who nodded. We all stood in a little me. I stood next to my dad, while Benjamin stood next to mom who, was placed next to dad. They came inside and I quickly sneaked a glance at my dress, still perfect. It was a cute dress that reached my knees. It was a baby blue dress.
Then my eyes glanced over the guys, all looking excited and a bit scared. I gave them my most beautiful smile. "Welcome, gentlemen!" Dad greeted and they look bowed for us. It was like the Mexican wave. "I hope you had a great journey and your stay at the palace has been great so far. Your belongings have been brought to your room, where you shall stay through the selection. Now you'll have a quick private conversation, 5 minutes, with my daughter. After that you'll be joining us for dinner. Make a good first impression, after the conversations five shall return home already." Dad told them and they turned scared, I gave my dad a look. But it was true, rules are rules. "But you still can join dinner with us, we'll give the results after dinner. It would be a little to harsh to not let you enjoy at least one dinner." Mom told them kindly. "I'm not gonna let you sit by longer." Dad said and held mom her hand. Benjamin gave me a nod and I smiled at him. "Good luck. I'm sure you'll all do well." Mom told them and I sensed that some turned less sacred. Mom had that effect on people.
"Let's start." I said and smiled. "Carter?" I asked and a guy came over. He was blond and had brown eyes. I took him to the room and we sat down in the sofas. We started to talk and he told me he was into archaeology. My mom and dad were too do I knew a few things, it was a nice chat.
Five guys later finally someone of my top ten came in, Logan Fierce. He bowed for me and I bowed my head. He sat down and smiled at me. "We met before, at the gala." He told me and I nodded. "I remember. You won a golden medal at the Olympics." I said snd he smiled. "I feel honored to be remembered." He said snd I chuckled lightly. "So how is everything going with your swimming career?" I asked. "Excellent, I'm training for next year, the Olympics are back." He said snd I nodded. "But what if you're the one?" I asked him, raising my eyebrows. "Then I am and I'll be it. My dad used to tell me, when you find the one never let go. So if you're the one for me and I'm the one for you, then I'll never let you go." He said and I smiled softly. "Just as charming as I remember." I said and he chuckled. "Time is up, your highness." The guard said and I nodded. I stood up and Logan followed me. "I liked it." I told him and he smiled, he bowed for me. "Your highness." He greeted and left the room.
The next one was definitely leaving. He came in, his name was Ryan. He bowed and sat down. "Ryan, nice to meet you." I said politely and he nodded. "You too." He told me and I nodded. "So what are your interests?" I asked, I took him a while to answer. He wasn't looking at me. "I like helping my dad on his farm." He told me and I found where his eyes were focused. My breasts. I crossed my arms, he snapped his head up. I tried to stay polite, it was so hard. "That's nice, what do you mostly do?" I asked, his eyes went to my legs. "Feed the cows and slaughter the chicken." He said snd my eyes widened. "Oh, that's...special." I commented snd he smiled. "Do you do sports?" He asked me. That took me by surprise, I smiled feeling happy someone asked something about me. "Well I tennis and I ride horse." I said and he nodded. "No, hockey or something. You have the legs for it." He told me, still looking at my legs. My eyes went to my guards, who's hands went to their weapon. "I'll think about it, but sadly our time is up." I said, which was totally not true. "Oh, see you at dinner." He said bowing and I stood up, I nodded. He scanned my body and left. When he was gone I turned to my guards. "Did you saw that?!" I asked shocked, they nodded. "Your highness, if another guy irritates you, tell us. We'll have him removed." A guard told me and I smiled. "Thank you, bring in the next one." I told him and he nodded. The next on was one of my ten again. Ethan Jackson. He was more handsome in real life. He bowed and sat down. "So, Ethan what are your interests?" I asked. "I love photography and I sometimes model." He told me and I nodded. "What kind of photography?" I asked and I saw him blush a bit. "This may sound weird..." He said snd I chuckled. "I've heard the most bizarre stories you can't even imagine, shot me." I told him and he chuckled. "I take pictures of old couples. They tell their love story and I write it down for them, make a book for them." He said snd I smiled, that was so sweet. "Nothing to be ashamed about, I really like it." I told him and he smiled. "Tell me one of those stories, I love good old romance." I said and he chuckled. "Well this one couple met when they were in diapers, they were neighbors. Grow up as the closest friends there can be. But after a while they started to get feelings for each other, they denied it and then the Second World War came. Harry, the man, had to go fight and he went missing for three years. She went every Friday night to one spot in town that was theirs, he promised he would come back for her and would wait for her there. She still did it every Friday and her family thought she was insane until one day he returned. They got married and had two children. They live in a little house in Texas, nice people and so open and kind." He said snd I smiled at the story. "I love your job." I told him and he smiled. "I can give you a book if you want, my personal favorite." He said snd I smiled. "I would love too." I said and the time was up. I stood up and he bowed for me. "Your highness." He greeted. "Ethan." I said snd he left.
After that I had four of my top ten coming. First was Sebastian Adams, he talked about his theories and how he planned the future. He was too adorable, he kept pushing his glasses up his nose. He was a bit clumsy. "It was nice talking to you, you made me a wiser woman." I said and he smiled standing up, but falling over. The guards moved closer, but I raised my hand and helped Sebastian up. "Don't worry, it happened to me like a million times." I told him and he smiled. "I'm sorry, I can be clumsy sometimes." He apologized, I waved it away. "Don't worry, we'll work on it." I said with a quick wink, he blushed and bowed for me. "Your highness." He said and walked away.
Next was Noah Bennet. He bowed and sat down. "It's really cool to meet you." He told me and I chuckled. "Thanks, Noah." I said snd he smiled, he looked like a little puppy. "Can you tell me something about your interests?" I asked and he nodded. "I want to become a fireman." He told me. "That actually surprises me." I confessed. "I know, I heard that a lot. But like the adrenaline, I want it all time. I like stress situation, the pressure. It gives me a kick." He said passionate, I nodded. "I get it, when there are problems and time isn't on your time, it can be stressful but when it's done it felt like s rush." I agreed, he chuckled. "Your stress must be a lot. I mean an entire country, must be a lot." He said, I nodded a bit. "I just help my dad now. He still has my mother and the advisors, the stress is not totally on me. But I want to take it on me, see if I'm capable to rule." I said and he nodded. "Get that, but you'll be a fantastic queen. I mean you have your parents to look up too. If they inspired you, then I think you'll do amazing." He said and I smiled. "Beside becoming a firefighter, anything else?" I asked, but the guard told me it was time to stop. "Bummer." Noah muttered and I smiled. "It was nice talking to you, Noah, I'm looking forward to our next talk." I told him and it made him so happy. He gave me a brilliant smile and bow. "Your highness." He said and walked outside. I smiled to myself, he was very cute.
The next one was Mason Johns, he had a box with him. He bowed and sat down. "Mason." I greeted snd he smiled. "Why do you got there?" I asked, he smiled shyly. "Well, my dad owns a restaurant and I love working there. I love cooking, so I though maybe yo would like to taste some of my tiramisu. People tell me they love it, so I hope it's good enough for you. I'm sure you tasted ten times better." He said shyly snd I smiled. "That's so sweet of you." I said as he handed it to me. I opened it and saw that there was already eaten from it. "Oh." I said and his eyes widened. "I didn't eat from it." He told me and looked completely confused and upset. "Don't worry, here I can take this part. No worries." I reassured him and he nodded, he watched me with scared eyes. I took a bite and had to stop myself from moaning, it was heaven. "Mason, this is the best I ever had! I need the recipe!" I said happy, he chuckled relieved. "Im glade you liked it. I was scared you wouldn't and sent me home." He confessed I shook my head. "tell me more about your dads restaurant." I told him and he smiled thinking about it. "It's small, but well known in my town. Every Saturday we cook for the entire town and we're all together. Our entire town is close, like we're one big family." He said and I smiled. "Your dad must be your inspiration, since you love to cook." I said and he nodded. "I learned cooking before walking. It's in the family." He told me. "What do they think about the selection then?" I asked. "They're proud of me, they support me no matter what. My dad was showing off to everybody in town, that I was chosen. It's they sparkle in your parents eyes that makes your day complete. I love it when my parents look at me and feel proud." He said and I sighed. "I know." I admitted softly. The guard told us that time was up. "Your highness." He greeted and walked away.
Next was William Baker. He told me about dancing and how he felt when he did it. I was silent, completely taking in by his passion. He talked five minutes long about how it felt to him when he danced and I didn't get bored once. With the passion he spoke made my heart beat faster. He told me how he wanted to become famous and dance for the rest of his life. "But what if you win my heart?" I asked. "Then I'll dance with you." He told me and I blushed a bit, but hide it away. Time was up and he bowed perfectly. "Your highness." He greeted and walked away.
After him came three bad ones. The first one was Connor. He just sat down without bowing. "What's up?" He asked. "Hello, Connor." I greeted and he nodded. "So..." He cut me off. "Are you gonna eat that?" He asked pointing at the tiramisu. Before I could answer he ate it all, he was like a horse. "This is so good!" He said with his mouth full, I grimaced. "So what are your interests?" I asked, he didn't answer he started to lick the bow out. When he was ready, his mouth was fully covered. "Time is up." I told him and he shrugged. "See ya!" He said walking out. He was so gone. The second one was Chris. He bowed and sat down. I read he wanted to help humanity. I asked him about his interest. "I want to help humanity." He told me and I smiled. "How do you want to help? Do you have plans?" I asked and he paled a bit. "Yeah, you know things and other things..." He told me and I frowned. "I'm sorry, but I don't know what things. Can you explain?" I asked, he nodded. "You know saving the whales." He said and I frowned. "You said you wanted to help humanity." I told him. "Did I?" He asked nervous. "Did you lie?" I asked him and he started to sweat. "What? No!" He said, he was clearly lying. "I don't like liars." I told him. "Time is up." I muttered, I didn't gave him one other look.  The last one was Levi and he fainted when he saw me. He woke up and said he wanted to go home, he started to cry for his mom. He laid on the sofa and I bowed over him as he woke. "I want my mom!" He cried loudly and the guards looked at each other. "Levi, don't you want to talk for a bit?" I asked, he cried harder. "Mommy!" He jelled snd I walked back. "I want my mommy!" He jelled, he was supposed to me one year older than me. The guards took him to the door, I followed them. The guys looked at us. "Are you sure you don't want to talk?" I asked Levi one last time. "Mommy!" He screamed and I saw some guys snicker. I saw the guards taking him away. "Liam." I called, he followed me in.
Liam was funny and he made me feel better after Levi, he was one of my top ten. He said how he would won oscars and other prices. He would be in movies with da rock, Adam Sandler. He joked around and I couldn't stop giggling, I felt like a stupid teenage girl but he was just too funny. After him was Jacob and he was breathtaking. "Your highness." He bowed and sat on the sofa. "Jacob, what are your interests?" I asked. "I loved basketball, I'm captain of my team." He said snd we chatted for a bit, but I just couldn't take my eyes of his gorgeous ones. "Your highness." He greeted and left the room, I was so obsessed with his eyes I forgot about what we talked.
There were three guys to go, two of my top ten included. The first one was Lucas Smith. His handsome face made me almost blush, he bowed and sat down in front of me. I asked hi, about his interests and he told her about Doctors Without Borders. "I went to Africa to help with the Ebola virus. It was so heartbreaking, all those children." He said and I smiled weakly. "You should be proud on yourself, you did something almost nobody dares." I told him kindly and he smiled. "I feel really honored. I mean the next queen prizing me, every boys dream." He said snd I chuckled. "We saw Levi earlier, he was very shy and didn't dare to talk to us. Looked like a nice kid, of you could get through his walls." He told me and I nodded. "It was a bit of drama, screaming for his mom. Let's hope the next to are as charming as you." I told him and he smiled. "You really want make me blush, huh?" He teased and I let out a soft giggle. The times was up and he bowed for me. "It was a pleasure, your highness." He told me and walked away.
The next one, was Austin. He walked over to me and immediately sat down next to me and kissed my hand and held it close to him. "Hello, gorgeous." He told me winking at me, I stared at him in pure shock. "Sir Austin, may I remind you I'm your throne princess and you cannot threat me like a normal girl. You're coming in my personal space." I told him and he grinned. "You're feisty for Royal." He told me and my eyes widened more. "You're being rude, sir Austin." I told him, he waved it off. "I always saw you on tv and thought if you were normal, I would've banged you already." He told me and I gasped. "You're being disrespectful." I accused. "Can we go to the kissing part?" He said leaning in. "Guards!" I screamed and they jumped on him. They dragged him outside and I took a couple of breaths, this never happened to me. Guys always treated me with respect, even James, he wouldn't suddenly jump on me for a kiss. And saying he wanted to bang me, even though I had no single idea what that meant. The next one was let in and it was Shawn, he was the last one. "Your highness." He bowed with his dazzling smile. He made me forget about Austin. "Shawn, nice to see you again." I said with a smile. "It has been two years. It kind of hurt me I never saw you at my concerts again." He said with a playful smirk. "Well the risks became to high, you are too popular." I told him and he laid a hand on his heart. "You're touching me." He said snd I chuckled. "So tell me more about you, pop star." I told him. "I assumed you knew everything about me since you're a fan." He teased, my eyes weld up with amusement. "Haha, you're so funny." I said sarcastically. "Is it compliment Shawn as much as I can day?" He asked and I laughed. "I love to sing and perform, I'm living my dream. What more can I ask for in my life?" He asked. "Love?" I asked and he nodded. "It would be nice to share life with someone who you can give your heart to." He told me. "You said you're living your dream. What if I choose you?" I asked and he leaned forward. "If I fell for you too and I feel like your my soulmate, I'm prepared to give everything away and do whatever to be the one that makes you smile everyday." He told me and they way he said it. Looking deep in my eyes. He told me like we were the only ones there. It made me blush! He smiled at my reaction, I felt a bit embarrassed, I shouldn't be showing affection this early! The time was up and he bowed. "Your highness." He greeted. "Shawn, wait!" I called as he walked to the door, he turned to me. "What does bang mean?" I asked and his eyes widened for a bit. "I just left a great impression, I'm not ruining it by explaining that." He told me and I frowned. "Did Austin say it?" He asked and I nodded. "That's why he was dragged away. Well you had alright." Shawn told me and walked away. "What does bang mean?" I asked to my guards, who stayed silent. "Why can't nobody explain what bang means?!" I asked frustrated. "Belle!" Mom said unapproved, I turned around and they walked into the room. "I never want to hear that word again!" She told me sternly. "How do you even know it?" Dad asked me. "A guy said it." I confessed and they had an angry face going on. "Explain, now." Mom demanded. I did, I explained about Austin. "Let's get him!" Mom said snd was about to, but dad stopped him. "No, be a good girl." He told her and she glared at him. "He said he wanted to..." Mom cut herself off. "What does it mean?" I asked annoyed, Benjamin sighed and whispered it in my ear. My eyes widened in horror. "What did you tell her?" Dad asked him. "Fifty shades of grey." He said and I heard mom chuckle. "Smart." She told him and he grinned. "They're must have been good guys, right?" Dad asked hopeful and I smiled nodding. "Yeah, some were true gentlemen. One even made me tiramisu. But then another ate it without my permission." I told and mom grimaced. "I would've got so angry at him." She confessed. "You would've killed him. Remember that time I took one bite out of your blueberry muffin and you were about to kill me with the butter knife." Dad reminded her and she smiled shyly. "I would never kill you." She said laying her hands around his torso. "Yea right, when it comes to food I'm a scared man." He said and she rolled her eyes laying her head on his chest. Dad kissed her forehead. They were so into each other, they forgot to ask about me. The were snuggling in the sofa. "I miss Zara, because of you!" Benjamin accused them. "Amazing!" Dad said snd mom gave him a look. "Father of the year." Benjamin said sarcastically, I laid my arm around him. "When I'm at the elite you  a hang out with the guys." I told him and he pulled me in his arms. "How long is that gonna take?" He asked. "As long as I need to." I told him and he whined. "But I want Zara." He pouted and I rolled my eyes. "Young love, what can you do about it?" I asked. "She's here in a week, hold on." I told him and he snuggled into my hair as always. He loved my hair, he said it smelled so nice. I looked at my parents. Dad had his arm around mom and looked down at her. She was playing with his wedding ring. He whispered things to her, she would look up with a bright smile and roll her eyes. "You're crazy, Jasper."I heard her say. "Crazy for you." Dad told her and she would kiss his cheek. "Dinner is ready, your majesty." A guard told my dad. "You know the five?" Dad asked snd I nodded.
We walked into the dining room, seeing the guys waiting for us. We sat at the head table. I scanned the room for my ten and some others I found interesting. But I saw something that made me feel uncomfortable, Austin, he kept grinning at me. We promised everyone a dinner at the palace. Levi sat apart from the rest, eating in silence. I still felt bad for the guy. My eyes moved to the rest and I saw Lucas smiling at me, I smiled back. And lastly my eyes fell on Shawn, he was taking to Jacob and he looked beautiful. I looked away before anyone could notice I was staring too long. I started to eat and chat with Benjamin.
"I hope you all had a nice meal. The next five boys stay here: Ryan, Connor, Chris, Levi and Austin. The rest can go to their rooms." I said snd they slowly left. Soon the five were left and I took a deep breath. "I'm sorry, but you didn't make it. I do wish you the best." I told them kindly. "What about the food?!" Connor asked pointing at the table with food on. "So we aren't going to bang?" Austin asked me amused. "Guards, take the bastard out before I kill him!" Dad told the guards, who gripped Austin and dragged him with them. "Mommy!" Levi screamed and he started again. "Sorry, I really didn't know you hated whales." Chris told me. "You lied, it had nothing to do with whales." I told him and he sighed. "Yeah, maybe you're right." He told me. "Don't forgot about what I told you about hockey? You have amazing legs for it." Ryan told me and dad stood up, clearly pissed. "This is not how you behave towards your future queen. You call yourself men, but all I see are four little boys! Go find your dignity and be ashamed of yourself." Dad snapped at them and they walked out. "How did they even make the cut?!" Mom wondered shocked. "They lied on their papers." Dad assumed. "We're ride of them, anyway. I can promise the others are men." I told dad and he nodded, still fed up about the way they spoke to me. I walked away, some guys made me sick in my stomach...
