It was my third week and I really liked it there. My friends and classes. Today was my first equestrian lesson here and I was excited. At home I had my horse Mia, but they offered horses here and I don't want Mia to be brought over and back. My outfit was to tight, but it were the school rules
I walked with Wang. "Come on, let's get you a horse." He said and I soon found one. Her name is Fio and she's beautiful. I took her outside and caressed her head. "You picked Fio!" Somebody said and I turned around, it was James
. "Oh, is she yours?" I asked, he quickly shook his head. "No, it's just nobody ever rode her, she's very stubborn." He said and I frowned. "She looks like a good one." I said and he nodded. "One of the best horses in the world, but only too stubborn." He said and I shrugged. "Let's see then." I said and was about to climb up, but he stopped me. "It's great that she is calm around you, but no way am I gonna let you ride her. You'll get hurt." He said and looked deep in my eyes. I quickly looked away. "Thanks for the concern, but I'm sure I can handle it." I said and I climb up, she stayed calm. "Be careful." He insisted and I nodded.
She rode so fast, I felt like I was flying. She was amazing and she jumped perfect. "Go Belle!" Wang cheered ad I did some more jumps. I ended and rode to him. I jumped off ad he gave me an applause. "Impressive, Belle." He said and I smiled. "Thanks, she's amazing." I said pointing and Fio. "You really bonded, just like Alexander the Great did..." I cut him off. "With Bucephalus, I know." I said and he smiled. "Good job!" James said and I smiled. "She wasn't that bad as you predicted." I said and he nodded. "You just bonded with her, she likes you." He said and I smiled at Fio. "Come on, Belle! Lessons are about to start." Wang told me and walked away. "I'll see you around." I told James and he smiled. "Hope so." He muttered, I walked away.
The next day was tennis and I had that with everybody."Would you like to play with me?" Li asked and I nodded. "Good for me." I said and she smiled. "I warn you now, my dad trained me and my brother and he never lost one set." I told her and she laughed. I knew people were looking at me and I got it. I was still the newbie and they never saw me play so I had to do good. Li started and I could see she was good, but I wasn't about to loose. If my dad would find out...
I won and my friends cheered for us. "You killed me!" Li said and I laughed. "My dad takes this serious." I said and she laughed. "Good job, Belle!" James said, some of his friends were with him."Thank you." I said and he smiled. "Come on, I want to see Wang play against Eiko!" Li said and pulled me with her. "Wait!" James called and we turned around. "Just promise me one match." He begged and I looked at Li, who looked nervous. "Why not?" I said and he smiled.
Wang just won like a boss, he was so good. I was surprised, he was a calm and peaceful person. And I saw him as somebody that had his nose in the books not in sport. I was wrong. "Belle!" James called and I run over. "Ready to loose?" He asked and I smirked. "I never loose, watch out." I said and he smiled amused. "What about a bet? If I win we gonna get to know each other and hang out, if you win..." I cut him off. "If I win I want you to give me real French croissants, it has been an century since I had a proper one." I said and he laughed. "Deal." He said and held his hand out, I took it. "Deal." I said and we stared in each other's eyes for a while and I shrugged it off. "Ladies first." I said throwing the ball at him, he raised his eyebrows and laughed a bit. "Belle, Belle, Belle, are you that rude!" He asked and I rolled my eyes. I stood in position and got ready. I imagined my mom and dad cheering for me. "Come on, princess." Dad would cheer. "Kick their butts!" Mom would say and dad would give her a look. "I mean be safe." She would say then. I smiled at their silliness and smashed the ball hard. James was surprised by my power, he had to readjust himself. I snickered at his shock. "Come on, B!" I heard Benjamin exclaim.
James was trying, but failing. This is just my sport. I won and he kept staring at me. "I never lost before." He muttered and I laughed. "You'll get over it, but don't forget about the croissants." I said patting his back. My friends were laughing. "You beat him, thank you so much!" Julianna cheered and pulled me in a tight hug. I laughed and we all went to lunch.
The next day was golf and I never did it before, my brother and dad always played. Eiko explained me it and I tried but my ball never went far. Li, Zara and I stayed together, while Eiko, Julianna and Wang went to the difficulty. My ball flew in the water and I sighed. "I'm terrible at this." I said and they smiled at me. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw James. "Let me help." He said softly and I nodded. He laid his hands on my waist and put me in position and went to stand behind me and laid his arms around me and followed my movements. My ball went to the island and I jumped up. "I did it!" I said and without even thinking I gave him a hug. I quickly let go of him, blushing. "I'm sorry I was just happy, I didn't..." he cut me off. "Belle, I don't mind." He said and we stared at each other. "James!" Claire called and she looked angry. "You should go check on her." I told him and turned away. "You're falling for him." Li told me and I looked at the sight, deciding where I wanted my ball to go. "Watch out, he's bad news." Zara warned me. I smashed my ball to the island and sighed. "I know." I muttered and walked away...
