The next morning wasn't any shocker. Just a shocker. While I was all shook from yesterday's happenings, I was all ready and excited to meet my patients today. I couldn't wait to take a proper tour round the hospital today. I mentally scolded myself because my mind wouldn't co-operate with me at times and go thinking about that girl. That girl.Ever since yesterday, I have been trying to forget the blood and that girl in the corridor. As much as I would like to say "it was a dream." , I couldn't. I saw it with my own eyes. I saw her. I can't fight what I see. Maybe I was lucid daydreaming? Yeah, that sounds more like it. I was definitely lucid day-dreaming.

As soon as I stepped out of my house, the icy cold air sent shivers down my spine and went right through my bones. I make my way to work.

I knocked on the dull grey door that was the entrance to the hospital, luckily the nurse from yesterday wasn't the person who answered, it was a man, he looked like one of the doctors. A hot sexy doctor at that. He had a Greek god like face, hazel eyes and brunette floppy hair. He didn't send a sad vibe. He didn't look scary. And he certainly didn't have a look of horror in his eyes. He reminded me of sunshine and happy memories. Memories of visiting the beach on summer, playing with a ball in the park. The first sight of happiness I'd seen in years.

"You must be Raveena.",he said with a rough but sexy voice. OMG, I'm already feeling the entire zoo just by his voice. And He knew my name. I didn't knew I was dumbstruck standing there staring at him until he flicked his fingers before me."Ye-Yes,That would be me. ",I said gazing into his gorgeous eyes. " I am Aryan and I'm a doctor here, you must be the new psychiatrist, aren't you?" He said with a smile forming over his handsome face. "Ye-Yes". I couldn't help stuttering. If he noticed me stammering,he didn't mention it and for that I am glad.

This was the first time I felt butterflies in my stomach and sparks every time someone is close to me. My first feeling of love."Oh good! Well today I will take you to meet all the patients and show you around a bit." he said. "Ok, thank you doctor" I said as I managed a bit of a smile. "

"Also Raveena, I'll let you know that we would be colleagues. Your patients would be my patients. " I just stared at him confused.

"What I mean to say is, the technique followed here is that every patient gets allocated three people.One-a psychiatrist,Two-a doctor, and Three-a nurse. So,Please call me Aryan and no doctor. This makes us partners."

Holy Moly gazillion Folly!!!!! I am gonna work with him everyday. I think I might need a doctor now. I just nodded at him and gave a smile. Had I opened my mouth, I would have again stammered no doubt but this time wouldn't be able to form a coherent sentence.

We walked past the reception, through the hallway to the same corridor 66 as where my office was but instead of turning right we went left. There was still blood stains on the wall, I had to swallow to stop myself from wrenching or doing something worse, something stupid like crying. He led me through a door and to where the patients were. Some of them were lying on hospital beds, some were sat on the floor rocking back and forth, some where crying, some were in straight jackets and some were shouting random things and punching the air.

He took me towards a young girl who looked about 18. "Hello Sara, how are you doing?",He asked gently. She didn't reply and kept staring at him blankly.Aryan turned to me.

"She is Sara Shastri. She will be one of your  first patients tomorrow."

I turned and scrutinized her. she was so thin. I saw a big scar on her arm and a burn mark on her back, she looked so innocent.."Ooook." I said, enlongating the O and looked around me. "Alright you all, line up its tablet time!" Came a voice from what looked like a counter by the wall but then that voice added a evil laugh in the end. "What's going on?" I asked Aryan. "Every day we need to give them their medication, they line up over there at that little counter and we give it to them one by one, if they refuse to take it they get electrocuted." He said, a look of sadness across his eyes. He was so different than all the other doctors and nurses here. So kind, so innocent, he treated them as human beings and I was going to do the same. "Come on, lets go and help" He said putting his hand on my back and guiding me towards the door.

We walked through the hallway and through another door. This door took us behind the counter. There was glass and bars around it apart from a little gap where their medication would be passed through. They all lined up and did what they were told as the woman handed them their medication, as me and Aryan watched. The woman who I presume was the owner of the evil laugh jeered and laughed at them, made fun of them, even passed them pins sometimes instead of the medication so they would prick themselves, treated them like animals. Once they had all had their medication Aryan walked me back to my office. "I have to go, I will come and bring Sara to you tomorrow. For now I am just going to let you settle in and get all your stuff ready for tomorrow." He smiled and shook my hand. I waved goodbye to him from the door of my office as he walked back to the ward full of patients.

That's where I saw her again, the girl. Standing there staring, just like she was yesterday.

Alright guys. This was a long chapter. Yes I am adding a little romance but hold on. This book is not at all for those who dig romance and happily ever after. You are already warned. This will be a little romance. Not too much. Corridor 66 is a horror genre and I would like to keep it the same way. Also, I am not good with all the romance jittery soo....

I would appreciate votes and comments. Thank you.
