It's a new day. I was happy despite the events occurring for the past few days. Today, I am finally going to talk to Sara,my first patient. I hurriedly rushed to the hospital and sat in my office waiting for her. I was just goddamn excited. Who wouldn't be?

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. "Come in!!"

Walked in was none other than Doctor Aryan. Sara followed him behind. Aryan nodded at me and slided the chair opposite to where I was sitting from, right across my desk. He tied Sara's hands and legs to the chair and I instantly felt a pang of pity wash over me. It made me upset and uncomfortable. It fairly reminded me of  a prison.

After he was done, He smiled at me, it was more of a reassuring smile. " Raveena, I will leave you and Sara to it." I pushed my thoughts out of mind and nodded. He walked away leaving me with this girl.My first patient. A smile formed at that and I turned to her. I was expecting a depressed child but instead faced a poker look. The child just stared blankly at my desk. I touched her hand, but she hissed at me, just like how a cat would. "I am sorry Sara. Look, I am here trying to help you so feel free to express anything". I gave her my most reassuring smile to make her feel at place. I was hoping she would actually talk instead of wasting the session.

She looked up and right in my eyes. A shiver ran down my spine. "Is there anything that you would like to share Sara? ",I asked studying her curiously. She nodded and opened her mouth but, no words came out of it. She had beautiful hair. If only she could take care of it. If only she wasn't so thin,so ill,so dead-looking. "It's okay take your time."

"I-I-I DIDN'T KILL HER,OK." She shouted and started crying.

"Who didn't you kill Sara?" I asked her gently not wanting to upset her more.

"I killed my best friend,Quinta."Well, I didn't kill her,she did.She killed her." She had a pleading expression on her face.

"Who killed her? Who is she?",I asked as a sick feeling starts developing at the back of my throat.

"A-a girl. I came here to visit my cousin and I saw a girl. She was standing at the dead end of corridor 66 staring at me. She looked quite dark and mysterious. I told the doctors about it but they ignored me. I swear I wasn't mental before I came here. She made me gullible to kill Quinta so they locked me up. No one believe me.But I guess now I am. My depression is what clouds my mind because of what I did to Quinta."

A tear rolled down her face. I didn't know what to say. "I see her too."

        Shock washed over Sara.

"Don't do anything Stupid ,ok. Promise me you will stay away from her. Promise me you will avoid her. Promise me you will not look in her eyes. They give scary nightmares.Promise me just stay away . Promise?" She said taking my hand and squeezing it.Little did she know, I've already looked in her eyes,I already have experienced those nightmares.

" I promise."

At this point, I don't know who was convincing whom. It was supposed to be me treating Sara but right now it seemed the other way round. She was the therapeutic. Together we cried.

A bead of sweat trickled down my forehead, I'd looked into her eyes, I'd had nightmares and I had looked for her every single day. I had betrayed Sara every day and I had put my self in danger.

I tried changing the topic to get my mind of it. "So Sara, why are you all chained up like this?"

She looked at the chains and said,"I guess they think I will try to kill you or something."

I didn't know what to say, so much for helping people make sense of their life's again. "Is there anything you want to talk about? anything I can help with?" I asked. "no" she said, distracted, she still had the look of panic fixed on her eyes. About five minutes later Aryan came to take Sara back to the ward. She didn't say anything, she just stared into space. Aryan gave me a smile and left the room closing the door behind him.

I had just opened my office door because I wanted to go outside for some fresh air when i saw her again. The girl. I tried not to look into her eyes but it was as if they glowed, I couldn't help it. Then she mouthed "I'm watching you." It was as if my heart had sunk all the way down to my feet, I couldn't breath. My vision went blurry and I fainted, her words ringing in my ears.

"I'm watching you, I'm watching you, I'm watching you" a deadly whisper.

Thank you for reading.

FUNFACT: I had named this hospital as the Waverly kindle hospital for the insane loosely based on the wizards of Waverly place.I just felt Waverly gave a haunted vibe. Well, I had even published a chapter with this name until someone pointed out that there infact exists an Waverly hospital that was turnt into an asylum.A complete coincidence. From there, I changed the name to Kilford.
