Chapter 5 - Packing

It's been two days since I found out I was chosen to be a part of Mark's charity livestream. I had a series of red marks on my arm from constantly pinching myself, telling myself it wasn't a dream. It was actually happening. I was getting to meet my idol! The youtuber whom I've looked up to since he started making videos.

I stared down at my empty suitcase, full of nothing, as I thought about what I should take with me to Ohio. I immediately grabbed every pair of jeans I owned and ever shirt I owned, which was not much.
'I hope he has a washing machine.' I thought as I threw the clothes in. I then grabbed some more personal articles of clothing, pyjamas and socks, and stuffed them in as well. I then had a thought. 'What was I going to wear for the livestream?' Alexi walked in, interrupting my thoughts, with her hands behind her back.

"I was going to save this to give to you for your birthday, but this occasion, cannot allow me to give this to you any other time." She said, holding out a black shirt. I unfolded it, to see that it was Markiplier's Rodeo Arcade shirt, with the "Markiplier's Heros" heart on the sleeve.
"You bought this during the livestream?" I asked, surprised that Alexi even bothered to get one.
"Yes." She said. "I knew you were disappointed about not being able to be here to watch the livestream due to classes and work, but since I was here, figured I'd get it for you, and give it to you in February. But since you're going to be in his next livestream, I couldn't wait for your birthday. You need to wear it for the livestream." She smiled. I automatically tackled her in a bone crushing hug.
"Alexi, you're amazing! Thank you so much!" I said.
"Anytime." She said. "By the way, here's your plane ticket. I printed it a few minutes ago." She handed me a piece of paper, with my plane info on it. They were a bit later than Mark said they'd be, but that didn't matter right now. I couldn't help but smile.

This was happening. It was really happening. Two days, and I'd be in Cincinnati.
