Forever Gone

Delicate raindrops

Falling gently

Slithering across

Glass so smooth

Singing their song

As I hum along

‘Til I hear your voice

But then it’s gone

Lightning strikes

Thunder roars

As I begin

 To frighten the storm

Heav’ly pounding

Mixing with tears

I thought you’d be here

Forever more

Yet here I stand

Wishing your voice

Would disappear

Forever more

You’re gone forever

Forever gone
