Between
On the outside I am a different person
But you don't know what is hiding beneath
For you dig no deeper than the surface
Judging by what only you see
You need to find the place in between
Where you know me
But there are still parts uncertain
Everyday you'll learn more
Only if you don't judge
To walk away
I can't open up
'Cause I know what is waiting
The judgment I wish not to seek
You think you control
And you some what do
I still see scars left
'Cause of what you do
You need to find the place in between
Where you don't hurt me
Where I feel free
To be the person I am meant to be
There shall be no pain
Unless from healing
I wish not to burn bridges
But build them with you
To learn lessons you've put aside
For another time which will not come
You need to throw away
The hurt you hide from
And face just what you've done
I know there is a place in between
The two emotions fear and love
Find the mutual feeling
And let it form and become
For it will change you
Just let it in
In between you will find
The place lies within you
Let it come
