Ally's POV

I couldn't hear a thing just my head reminding me of all the memories Shawn and I shared it's like my entire childhood flashed before my eyes.

I closed my eyes feeling a bit nostalgic.

But then I opened them and realized that people started walking away.

I dropped the cup and it was all I heard, that light, empty plastic cup was all I heard. Then suddenly all sounds started coming back and Jocelyn was snapping her long fake nails and fingers infront of my face.

"Helloooo" she still clicks her fingers.I finally look at her.

"Allison! Were you even listening to a word I said" she continued to blab, with that annoying high pitch overly dramatic voice of hers.

"Yeah sure, sure " I reply with false exasperation.

"Ughhhhh..."she obviously noticed,so she stormed away her possies cameras still on her.

Why are teenagers so desperate for high school drama.

But then again it's not just us...its people in general.

It's like humanity is hungry for the misfortune of others, especially when they're not directly involved.

And with that I realized that people were all heading to classes to meet their new homeroom teachers and collect their schedules for the year.

Yet I stood there frozen.

"Schmidty, what are you doing out here come on get to class, my class and you might wanna pick that up littering is bad for the environment", Coach Nevill said, as he stood infront of me with a clipboard and whistle in his hand. He was the Health Sciences teacher and also obviously the Gym teacher and hence coach for most sports activities.

"Coach?"

"Yeah get to class"

"Yes sir"

The thing about Coach Nevill was that he was too goofy to be taken seriously - at first, and yet too intimidating to be cool.

I followed him to our new class and took a seat by the window. As I stared onto the bright green field, you'd rarely see in reality, I start to think about who I saw minutes ago in the hall.

"GOOD MORNING SENIOR PUPILS"
Coach screams bringing my full attention to the front of the class.

"Good morning Coach Nevill" the class greats back, but unfortunately not in unison or with any enthusiasm.

"I SAID GOOD MORNING SENIOR PUPILS!!" He yells, even louder this time.

"GOOD MORNING COACH !!" the whole class returns the greeting in almost perfect unison and more lively.

"GREAT!!!" He screams and starts pacing around infront of the classroom.

"You all know who I am, but in this class and instance you will refer to me as SIR..."he spits,"...or Mr. Nevill"

"THAT CLEAR?"

"SIR YES SIR" we all reply with enthusiasm as we did not want to repeat ourselves again.
