"Jackson sweetie, please, please cooperate with mommy right now. She has a lot on her plate."

"But mommy I don't  want you to go." My son Jackson says.

"I know baby,  but mommy has a date tonight, just be good for Grandma, and be nice to your sister."

"Mommy, I want daddy back."

"I know baby....and I'm sorry. And I know you don't want me to move on. But I love you. And I'll be back before you know it. " I say and I give Jackson a hug and kiss and give my daughter Lexi  a kiss and hug.

"OK guys ill be back. Thank you again mom for doing this. I love you." I say and I then walk out the door and to my car.

Well  my name is Audrey. I'm a single mom with two kids. Jackson whos 5 and Lexi who's a year old. I gave birth to Jackson at 16. So yes I am only 21. I had Lexi at 20. My kids are my everything. I love them so much. Now before you start assuming. No my kids do not have daddy issues. Two days after Lexi was born, my soon to be husband and their father died in a huge accident. He was riding his motorcycle home from work. He wasn't speeding or anything, but he worked a late shift, and he had to take the highway where he worked. A trucker that obviously needed to pull off, because he was way too tired and didn't, so he hit him. He was thrown off his bike, and fell over 100  ft, to his death on the rode under him.

It's been hard to cope with, but I decided I needed to move on.  And being a single mom is very hard. So I'm trying to find the perfect  guy. I signed up for some dating sites. I have had some matches and I've gone on a couple dates. Tonight I have one with this guy named Brian. Hopefully it goes well.

I pull up to the bar were we are meeting at to have a few drinks. I get out of my car,  and I see him standing at the entrance. He looks just like his profile. Blue eyes, dark brown facial hair, and dark brown hair, pretty fit. I smile and walk up to meet him.

"Brian?" I say.

"Audrey?" he says.

"That would be me." I say with a smile. He  smiles back.

"It's great to meet you."

"Its great to meet you too." I say. He opens the door for me and lets me  in. We both walk up to the actual bar seating and I sit on the stool.

"So tell me about yourself." I say. "Tell me everything that's not included in your matchme profile."

"Okay well I  am a CEO in a huge company, I have never been married or engaged. I'm busy a lot and I go on a lot of business trips but if things work out, I would love to take you along. Um...I find you very stunning.  I thought you were so beautiful in pictures and then I meet you and wow. I just can't stop starring at your beauty." I blush a little.

"Thank you." I say.

"So tell me about yourself." He says.

"I'm a cosmetologist and I also work as a yoga instructor. I have 2 kids as you know. I'm a busy single mom, luckily where I work, there's little day care areas. All I do is go to work and mom. I  don't really have time for  anything else, so." I laugh a little and smile.

Then we have a couple drinks and the more he drank the more he became a jerk which I didn't like.

"So you honestly think having 2 crappy jobs is gonna get you anywhere?" He says.

"They feed my kids and keep a roof over my head." I say.

"I bet your kids are little shits, huh? That usually happens when they don't have father figure."

"Actually no." I say. "I basically am their dad and mom. My son is 5 and he is so sweet and he's smart for his age. And my daughter is 1, and she isn't a little brat. They both can be a little annoying at times, but can't everyone. I love my kids and I want them to have a good guy in their lives, I'm sorry, but I'm leaving. " I got up and left and went home.

Just another crappy date.
