Chapter 23

Jade's pov

This apartment is so boring Harry has left 5 minuets ago to go feed on someone. He said that he needed to feed.

So here I am stuck in this apartment. oh and did I mention that he locked the front door and all the windows.

Sitting on the couch now I wonder what Patricia is up to, I can't believe she's a vampire now.

Well I hope she's having more fun than I am.

I don't want to become a vampire I just want to live my life like a normal 13 year old girl.

I'm startled from my thought when the front door opens.

" I'm back Jade" Harry yells from the front door.

I can hear his foot steps getting closer.

" hey you okay" he says while hugging me.

" I'm fine"I mumble.

" are you sure" Harry says looking down on me because he's so tall.

" yep just a bit hungry that's all" I replied looking up at his face.

"Okay then how about I duck out again and get us some food since,there isn't any left in the kitchen" Harry said walking towards the door again.

" okay" is all I reply with before the front door closes again.

Sighing I sit back on the couch.

Wait a minute what am I doing I should be trying to get out of here.

Looking around the room I see nothing.

Trying all the window and to just my luck the bedroom balcony door opens.

I can see the fire escape ladder.
In no time at all I'm packing all of my stuff in a small backpack that was in the cupboard.

climbing down the ladder I heard the front door open again shit.

Climbing back up I shut the door and throw the backpack to the corner of room.

Looking up I see Harry with his hands full of McDonalds.

" here's your food" Harry said with a smile as he handed me the cheeseburger and hot chips.

" thanks" I replied taking the food out of his hands.

Harry's pov

I know she tried to leave me.

I was standing there when she was shutting the door and I saw her throw the bag to the corner of the room.

" so, how bout we go to bed now" I say standing up and taking her hand in mine leading her to the bedroom.

" Comon now get into your pjs" I said to her.

I watched her walk over to the bag, grab out pyjama shorts and a singlet then head off to the bathroom.

What am I gonna do with her I thought she was over trying to escape but I'm afraid not.
